Kit comes with a new drill bit just for that purpose. We are out of stock with the kits, however. Only that the ShieldShackles for softails.

Not so quickly released for a thief, but can be removed easily.

Very interesting. I just wanted to make an observation about the security issue. I had an accident with my Harley and at the time of the collision my body was projected directly into the windshield that at the exact moment it disconnected and did not allow me to get hurt. On this day I understood why the system of quick coupling with those steel wires. They were designed to just move forward when the motorcycle collides head-on. That's the tip.

Unfortunately, that also allows for very easy theft of the shield. We have had customers who came out to find an old, scratched windshield had replaced their new one...

Are you saying that in case of an accident the best option is the original steel wire?

We do not currently make a saddlebag lock other than the Combi-lock for the Road King Customs. However, we are in the process of having installation videos made for all of our products. Our goal is to make our products easy to install and yet do what they say will do. But we also know that we all like visuals. Thanks for the comment.

We just didn't want to bore people. Just show the one and if you multiply the 6 seconds this takes by 2 - then in less than 15 seconds the LOCKED bag is off the bike. By the way - thieves already know this...
