Some (15+) years ago, I had the privilege to watch the ANTONOV 225 take off from BUSH (IAH) International AirPort in Houston. What a GLORIOUS sight it was! I was heartbroken to learn the plane was heavily damaged at the onset of the current war between Russia and Ukraine. ☹️

It was build very long time ago, pretty much they built it just to show that they can... Cold War era, US and USSR liked stuff like this :) considering they only built one even Soviets realized how useless it actually is, well, at least how inefficient.
