Hello. Please tell me if there is such a problem. I have calipers old model (two-piston), they squeak very loudly. After rebuilding the calipers and replacing different pads, the squeak did not go away. I looked at what they should be anti-squeak plates (I don’t have them). Is it possible to make them yourself and what kind? shape should they be? There is also a question about the piston, there are cuts on it, in Which side should the cuts face and does this affect the creaking?

Can you fit these with LED or HID bulbs?

We have an electric rock n roll bed in a Toyota alphard. It sounds like the motor is working but the bed it not connecting it just becomes manual. It's supposed to go half way like a lounger then fully flat. Any help most appreciated?

Thank you so much for this! I've been tracing wires and connectors to check why my Gen light isn't coming on with key on, even checked the bulb and connectors in the speedo cluster too. I had no idea that if you take the Field wire off and ground it then the light would work to verify all the wiring is good. If I would have seen this 1st then it would have saved me 2 days work. Easy verification of my alternator being bad.

Watching these technical 'how tos' gives me the confidence to tackle certain jobs that would have otherwise felt beyond me. The generous knowledge sharing is greatly appreciated and it is evident that a lot of care and planning have gone into these videos. What a great resource for the aircooled community. A quick question: I assume this procedure would be largely the same when overhauling a type 3 'pancake' engine? Am I correct in thinking that the barrels and pistons are essentially the same?

I got a Ford V 6 Essex engine in my 88 panel van kombi, it was a common thing to do South Africa in the 70's, 80's and 90's as the original engine lack power, overheat in South Africa climate . Goes like a bomb up hills.
