Will this act as a split charge system from start battery to leisure ? I have a euro 5 transporter and heard that euro 5 and 6 isn’t compatible?

Hello. Please tell me if there is such a problem. I have calipers old model (two-piston), they squeak very loudly. After rebuilding the calipers and replacing different pads, the squeak did not go away. I looked at what they should be anti-squeak plates (I don’t have them). Is it possible to make them yourself and what kind? shape should they be? There is also a question about the piston, there are cuts on it, in Which side should the cuts face and does this affect the creaking?

Hi, as long as you know where the screws are going and are not too long and ground off underneath and painted over. It's fine. Also bonding the floor down can work well too. Thank you for interest.

Hi, it didn't heats up the car as much as you would think. As the solar screen soaks up most of the heat and covers the whole glass. Hope that helps!

Not how to cut out for windows. Don't use a grinder for this job.
@justkampers10 күн бұрын
Hi, generally yes you are right a grinder can cause more damage if not correctly masked up. But we had masked up correctly to protect the paint and other components. This video was a demo of what can be done with tools from home. But yes we would recommend using a jigsaw. Thanks for your interest.

Hi, if not working it would be worth warming up the area around the ball joint on the hub as it sounds like you may have corrosion between the hub and the ball joint. Plenty of soaking with a maintenance spray before hand will help. Hope that helps!

Whats the lubricant and clay you use? What polish and wax do you recommend, my vans the same colour as yours but always looks crap when i was it myself
@justkampers10 күн бұрын
Hi Andrew! We use Sam's Detailing for the clay and a light soapy water for the lubricant. For polish you can use a very light cutting compound. And for wax on top of that I would recommend one that's ceramic or carnauba. Hope that helps

Thank you for this video, I'm a little daunted at the thought of wiring my Boxer, but this has reassured me. Th8s set up is almost exactly what we would like. Before i get this kit, may I ask if the setup you've demonstrated here would work with the addition of an inverter so that we can have off grid 240v power ( I'll need more batteries which I will house in the rear garage) Any other advice would be appreciated before I order from yourselves. Hi Mike, we've got a universal curtain rail bundle kit, which should fit your Fiat: www.justkampers.com/conversions/interior-parts-accessories/van-curtains/curtai[…]2-25-x-5-meter-lengths-includes-clips-glides-end-stops.html If you're looking to cover the blackout curtains from one of our kits with your own material, that may work but we've never tried it! Hope that helps!

Thank you so much for this! I've been tracing wires and connectors to check why my Gen light isn't coming on with key on, even checked the bulb and connectors in the speedo cluster too. I had no idea that if you take the Field wire off and ground it then the light would work to verify all the wiring is good. If I would have seen this 1st then it would have saved me 2 days work. Easy verification of my alternator being bad.

I cannot praise Mark's instructional videos highly enough! A great teacher, with a calm demeanour. Watching these technical 'how tos' gives me the confidence to tackle certain jobs that would have otherwise felt beyond me. The generous knowledge sharing is greatly appreciated and it is evident that a lot of care and planning have gone into these videos. What a great resource for the aircooled community. A quick question: I assume this procedure would be largely the same when overhauling a type 3 'pancake' engine? Am I correct in thinking that the barrels and pistons are essentially the same?
@justkampersАй бұрын
Hi, thank you for such kind comments and feedback! To answer your question, yes the barrel and piston procedure is the same as the video and the rest of the engine is very similar. Hope that helps! If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask. Many Thanks, JK
