It would be so meta if this had been Dave Thomas doing Phil Donahue and the SNL cast had actually been portrayed by the SCTV crew.

I also loved the scene when Abby was getting the last of her things at the ranch and Jill walked in looking for Gary. Abby warned Jill that “the first Mrs Ewing, never goes away. EVER!” She was right. lol

I remember when Val sucker slapped Abby when she confronted her about sleeping with Gary. I think everyone watching, could feel that slap! 😂 This was a great scene though. ❤

To Chuck Woolery--if I would have been your late boss Merv Griffin if I were making all that money from both versions of Jeopardy and Wheel & with my talk show & running RESORTS HOTELS etc....if you came to me wanting that $500,000 raise from $375,000!!--YOU GOT IT!! YOU WORKED HARD FOR THAT!! YOU DESERVED IT!!
@user-ww5qj7oj4rАй бұрын
I,ll bet if Chuck Woolery really wanted to he would of came back to host the current nighttime syndicated Wheel today. I wouldn't be surprised if Pat Sajak,s daughter maybe could work out a contracting deal with ever runs Kingworld as well as the current production team at Wheel. I would like to think with the late Merv Griffin gone since 2007--maybe Chuck Woolery would finally be granted the salary & raise he should of had.

Yet Jeopardy & Wheel that has altogether been on the air between 50 & 60 years!!🎉🎉🎉 & STILL GOING STRONG!! Wheel Of Fortune not too long ago celebrated it,s 8,000th show & Jeopardy also not too long ago celebrating their 9,000th show!!
@user-ww5qj7oj4rАй бұрын
Pat Sajak was just as good as Chuck Woolery & Vanna White was just as good as Susan Stafford in my opinion.But it,s just a damn shame that the late Merv Griffin acted like the world,s biggest cheapskate---all that money 🤑💰 he made from Wheel & both versions of Jeopardy I mentioned earlier & his talk show of 23 years plus his MERV GRIFFIN,S RESORTS HOTELS HE BOUGHT & OWNED & LATER ON SELLING HIS PRODUCTION COMPANY TO COCA COLA IN 1986 FOR $250 MILLION DOLLARS!! The late Alex Trebek was clever in asking Merv if he could be host & producer of the current Jeopardy for the first 3 years to make THAT EXTRA MONEY!! Also another benefit Alex stayed at the helm of Jeopardy for 36 years & 8,243 shows until his death in November of 2020!!

Although the only blessing in disguise was for the last 43 years since I moved to Baltimore MD from living in The Twin Cities Mpls St Paul MN from ages 2-9 years (1974-81)--the world got to know Pat Sajak and later on Vanna White after Susan Stafford also left not too long after Chuck left!! & 43 years later Pat Sajak retires as host of Wheel.If Merv would have gave Chuck Woolery that raise--he probably would have hosted Wheel almost or just as long as Pat Sajak did!!
