Hi Terry! So excited to see these videos for this plane. I just bought an old kit from someone off of FB Marketplace (untouched) in box, untouched but however approx. 15 years old. My wings and tail are not pre-hinged like yours. do you know of a video on how to do this? Thanks so much, can't wait to build this with your help!!

same thing happened to me connected the Battey and it just took of at me cut my forearm to threads 15 stiches now i set throttle cut and take the prop off learnt the hard way

Terry i been thinking about you alot lately buddy. I really miss flying and still have all the planes and helis just haven't touched them in years. My back has gotten worse and i wasn't getting blood to my legs, dr's kept telling me it was nerve damage and scar tissue. When I'd complain that i can't walk far without calf cramping like a fist and not releasing. Finally my burning sensation toes looked like they were gonna fall off and a dr setup a test to see that i wasn't getting blood flow to legs and feet. Anytime I'd walk 40 feet to mailbox i couldn't walk back on my own the pain was excruciating and i just couldn't take another step. Finally they put 3 stents in and opened flow and that helped take the burning away, but still couldn't walk but about 20 to 30 feet and then have to sit or lay down and wait for calves to stop feeling like they were going to burst. I saw a comment you left someone about a year ago and sounds like you're in same boat now. Im sorry to hear that. I hope you and the family are well though. We're hanging in there kids are grown with kids of their own now and have moved on. We have custody of our niece and nephew 13 and 15 and have had them for last 4 years, I've tried to get them on simulator but they show 0 interest, he just wants to play war games and she wants to be tiktok famous she's either learning new dances or playing fortnite. But they're good kids they've been through slot and seen more in their young age than most adults even ever see. Take care buddy i wish y'all well.

You dont build ARF or ARC , You assemble them . They already come built . You goo the tail feathers onto the fus. Then you goo the wing together . That is not building folks . Only Republican pilots think that assembling an ARF or ARC is the same as building from a box of wood . So take that ARF to the flying field and if someone say nice plane who built it ? Tell them you did it all by your self from the gound up . Dont tell them it was an ARF or and ARC .

Opaque plug tanks will eventually leak or split, and you can't visualize integrity of tank lines. Clear tanks with a three line has advantages if it can fit.

Lost mine last year had a 25cc Chinese petrol in it..flew it for three years and then had a heavy arrival and damaged the cowl...ordered a new cowl but never fitted it...got too carried away with it and destroyed it..😂😂..seeing this makes me think of buying another one...but already have a hanger full and would need to get the box past err indoors..😂😂.....ps I would suggest a tough of right rudder would see you taking off in a straight line..just my 2p worth..👍👍

You said a field in Alpena??? We have a pretty good sized RC group in Harrison AR. Race drones, Wings Planes etc! Love to meet up and fly.

I like that so much better with the inverted engine and cowl. The original was lacking in appearance because of the open engine.

Wow! That was almost 10 years ago. Just came across this again and it brought a smile to my face. Still got the bug...although I didn't fly but a few times last year I plan on hitting it hard this year. Picked up a couple of Kaos 40 size and will have one ready shortly.

It is now 2022 and Austin is in the poor house and surrounded by all kinds of flying Machines. That’s him sitting in the cellar with a smile on his face.

You should program throttle cut function in your transmitter.And remove the prop while setting up your plane.I agree electric planes are very dangerous.But get in the habit of keeping your throttle cut switch to throttle cut position and only switch it on when prepairing to hand launch.I have been flying R/C 48 years.
