Naw i appreciate this. I love sneakers. I don't like being barefoot that much except for outside grounding or in nature. Other than that I'm in sneakers & slides

Nsima, my name is Charles and I just watched your video on KZfaq, about keystone capacities and micro training. It was EYE OPENING! I am a 22year, retired Army veteran, who has had 2 neck surgeries (fused), two lower back surgeries (fused), ruptured achilles tendon surgery, abdominal hernia surgery, humerus break, tare in left shoulder, (PTSD, panic and anxiety disorder)and a host of other medical conditions, which are all service connected. Needless to say, I've lost considerable flexibility, and gained alot of weight, over the years. I'm 57 years old, 5'7 and 237lbs. I've started training and made progress, coming from 275lbs, to my current weight. I'm lifting weights, walking/riding bike, intermittent fasting and carnivore eating. All of which, have given me results, but I need/want to regain flexibility and perform natural body movements. As you can see, I'm dealing with alot, physically; I would LOVE your opinion, on what route I should take now. My goal is to strengthen my body, getting to 170-175 lbs, sprinting and being flexible again.

I would love to wear barefoot shoes, but I wear size 14 and my feet are wide, so I just can't find any. If anyone has any recommendations, send me a link.

i was 55 and in pretty decent shape. i got into a situation where I had been driving for 3 hours straight...had to get out of my vehicle and sprint to chase down something. I tore my left hamstring and a nasty strain on my Achilles left foot...strained my abdominal wall on my right side...i was laid up for 3 solid months

Wide sizes are good much better. It’s good to have some shoes that are wide, flat, AND flexible. Wide is a great start

Thank you so much for making this video, the truth about the footwear industry needs to be exposed to everyone. I switched to barefoot shoes and toe socks about a year ago and my feet have completely transformed for the better. My athleticism has increased at 31 compared to 21 years old based on my feet strength and mobility alone!

I am half African American and was born with "Flat feet". As a teen I was told I needed to tape my feet and wear orthotics in order to play sports. Now I have weak ass feet and a mallet toe that probably contributed to a bunch of chronic pain/injuries on that side of my body. Thanks for helping spread this message and providing us with the knowledge that will allow us to avoid these mistakes in our children so they can walk through life with strong, Francis Ngannou-type feet.

Been using barefoot shoes for a year plus now for about 80% of what I do. I still opt for wide width runners and training shoes but try an incorporate the barefoot shoes more for those movements too. It's funny because in traditional shoes I would always buy a half size to size larger because of how cramped they would always feel.
