When do you use primary container, or secondary container? how can I adapt the container colors if i want transparency? Sorry if this is covered elsewhere.

Wow impressive the quality of this. How come does anybody is not speaking about it?

I would like to create a theme that uses black and white as primary and secondary colours with some pops of colour as tertiary and additional extended colours. When I add the black and white to the Material Theme Builder, the system creates a tonal palette that contains hues I have not selected, like blues and purples rather than creating a tonal palette from the colour picked by me, black. I would be expecting to see shades of grey for example. I would like to understand why this happens and if there is a way around this. Thank you! 🙏
