POS as far as I’m concerned. The only way to get any volume out of mine is to Frank all 3 EQ’s on every set. Plug in the iPad and it’s useless sounds like crap

Denon is generally better, and every feature is brilliant and desired on Pioneer gear, but clubs and bars don’t have Denon gear. Plus they don’t look as nice as Pioneer design wise. The squishy play/cue buttons are horrid and the jogwheels aren’t as satisfying.

I have been watching and twitching knobs for this interface and it’s garbage straight up, the interface says not able to connect and I already upgraded the version, what a waste of time and money really 😡🤯

I still use arsenal each day ,I love the quality of the sounds and it's simple too use...but the hardware was never really finished..it's frustrating too use and the sequencer was never fully finished. Same goes for any tutorial they never really explained how you get the sequencer too record the parts created on the hardware into your daw. I used cubase and the sequencer always records late so your tracks are not on the best so need manually edited too fit but still sound slightly off. Real shame I hope one day someone will do a tutorial on how to use the sequencer with cubase and hope a third party will create a update which will unlock it's full potential

I grew up with Pioneer and love their products but the company was sold. They’re just trying to catch up with Denon now. Pioneer is not what it used to be.

The only things I don’t like is the change of the manual sampling mode and mixing/adding effects to the master channel. I’ve been a dedicated user of Native Instruments’ Maschine series, starting with the original and moving to the Mikro platform for its smaller footprint. I’ve used the Mikro since its release, upgraded to the Mk.2 in 2017, and just got the Mk.3 in 2024. Despite the attractive new hardware, I’m disappointed with the sampling workflow changes. Previously, live manual slicing was a feature that significantly enhanced my workflow and was a major reason I preferred the Maschine. However, the Mk.3 now has a slower, less intuitive sampling process. This change seems ironic and counterintuitive, especially for a model marketed as “fast” and “on-the-go,” as Boris mentioned. It disrupts the efficient workflow I’ve relied on for over a decade. The original Mikro and other models support this essential feature, suggesting the issue is software-related. I contacted support to request that they revert the settings to re-enable live manual slicing, and I encourage others to do the same. This feature is crucial for maintaining the high productivity and enjoyment I’ve experienced with Maschine products. Also, we used to be able to navigate between sound, group, AND MASTER, with f1, f2, and f3. Now we only have sound and group… we should be able to do EVERYTHING from hardware. I’m sure this can also be resolved in a software update… something for long-time users of the mikro platform functionality. Let’s work together to get Native Instruments to restore these capabilities and enhance the user experience on the Mikro Mk.3. Some of us CHOSE the platform out of the desire to have a smaller footprint, but we didn’t want a smaller pool of functionality. I’m sure this was done to encourage sales of other offerings, but there are other reasons to buy the flagship models- maybe the screen? The amount of encoders? The ability to attach SD cards and use it as a standalone… don’t worry NI, we will still buy a good product, but bring back the days of being able to make beats while waiting in the airport. SMALL FOOTPRINT FTW.

Amazing tutorial! I don't know if Maschine Mikro is simpler or you're just a great teacher, but when I watched several training sessions on "big" Maschine, I didn't understand anything. The hardware seemed completely abstract, so much so that even with trial and error, after a few moments I was able to create something in Fruity Loops but not in Maschine. The issue of additional plug-ins, effects, etc. are just details, but you clearly and quickly explain how to record something quickly, and the most important thing is that you have joy, willingness and enthusiasm to discover Maschine further. For me, it turned out that when I had a "big" maschine, I mainly used the computer, and Maschine for groups and pads. I didn't have to mess around with the sampler, create samples and use very advanced functions. however, I know that the strength of Maschine lies in its displays, knobs and quick access to everything without a mouse or computer, which allows you to create quickly and with imagination. For me, it seems that creating simple songs and having fun is enough for me to be happy, and if I add mainly using a computer, Maschine Mikro seems to be perfect for me! At my level of creation, pressing Shift + Pad instead of a specific key to select a group makes no difference.

Thank you for this. Can you tell me how I setup record a mix playing.45s using 2 turntables, Traktor Kontroller z and Traktor pro 3. I know how to record with the setting for 1 turntable but would like to record a mix using 2 tables. How do I do that using what setting in the software and what setting on the z2 mixer. Thanks again, in advance.
