If you can't find HDF, another way to get this finish would perhaps be to use a good quality MDF, and then after the cut, lacquer the whole board very well with a water-based urethane floor lacquer. Let it dry completely, and then run a finishing pass on it. When MDF is lacquered, it swells up slightly.

hi. i bought one of these vacuums for my epoxy work but mine has so much smoke it makes it impossible to use inside. is yours like that too or am i doing something wrong or is it just not working well? whats your opinion? it does become way less once its sucking and doing its job but by that time the alarms went off each times inside

I was trying to see the specs on the vacuum pump but the motion was to blurry. Can you post a pic of the specs of that pump? I have a pump I use for wood stabilization, but I don't know if my pump is enough.

Noticed the race track shapes that draw the vac are at the same height as the squares. Is this an oversight? How does the air go from the grooves through to the vac?

Работа зачёт. Но есть пару вопросов. Зачем на каретке косынка справа от шпинделя? И скорость обработки можно в несколько раз повысить. Это же до утра можно делать эту работу! И наверное нитрокраской хорошо бы мдф покрыть после обработки . Иначе большие потери в давлении будут.

What a piece of crap. The quality of the machining is awful and they've been overly enthusiastic with the roundover bit in the router around the back of the neck socket. I'll stick to making them by hand, thank you.
