I think for such a long trip as this it was wise to convert it to 12 volts, the most important part being the lights. The 6 volt glow is great but with modern traffic I think you need to be seen as well as being able to see. I hope they make it all the way to the end. They have rebuilt the engine once so they should be fine now for the rest of the way. What a great video Steve, really enjoyable even if it was short, no matter still great. 👍👍

This kind of engine starting caused serious injuries, some times EVEN DEATH if you didn't know how to avoid the engine kickback.... DEADLY SPORT !

Do not wrap your thumb around the damn bar your thumb should be beside your pointer finger then you cut the bar as you crank it.

Hi Steve. Thanks for showing us around! I have a request that one day you start a series where you compare all your cars. Would loved to see that as I love all the cars you have and wonder how each one would rate in different categories. For a guy that can only purchase one or two of these it would be invaluable. Cheers Ian from Canada

Something i always thought was cool about the Duesenberg was the ashtray. It was hooked up to the engine vaccum and sucked your smoke and ashes away.
