A higher price tag and more weight, but faster and a more customizable interior. Is that a fair trade?

I find it extremely odd that one would compare a $250,000 GT coupe with a $100,000 Panamera sedan. Panamera competes with the Quattroporte. Maserati GranTurismo’s direct competitors are Ferrari Roma, Aston Martin DB12, and, with some stretch of imagination, Porsche 911 Turbo S or Mercedes-AMG 63S coupe.

Pleeeease . Its a cock up . Should be badged Mazda . The over styling of the front is utterly appalling. Great sublime geometry I'll agree but it's ruined with that Hyundai air dam , the stupid repeaters and the abysmal arse . Cabriolet is much better but that lower bumper has to go ..... immediately. Needs better deep dish alloys too . Enzo cries

I'm tired to see and read review about Ferrari, it's like Apple whatever those brands do, people always say it's fantastic, amazing, blah blah... Sounds like there's objectivity... Trust me if you work in a OEM car company you will realize there's a lot of dillusion and most the time, the best are not always the one we think. Good luck

Tip of the cap to Tim Kuniskis. He's making a very bold leap into being the first muscle car EV. He knows Hyundai is breathing down their necks with the 5N, and the imminent 6N - which will be an absolute monster. He's at the very least getting a jump ahead of Chevrolet and Ford, and I applaud him for that. All these dated dinosaur comments about EVs not being muscle.. blah, blah, blah .. continue to be entertainment in these comments. See if you can outrun Croatia's Rimac Nevera. 🐲Those cats were WAAAAAYYYY ahead of the game while we were still obsessing over cubic inches. Time to wake up to the 21st Century. Now.. as for the EV Charger. My comment comes from someone who used to own a 2018 Charger SRT Scat Pack, and I loved that car. And I got so fired up over the Charger concept. But the production model is a major disappointment. The shape is the concept, but the width, ride height, stance, et al is nothing like the concept. No clue what happened in the design production department. They weren't talking to the concept team department. Regardless, Tim needs to clean that up. The 4x4 look of the Charger and skinny-winnie chassis from what looks to be leveraged from a 2015 Charger has got to be trashed. Maybe Dodge will figure out the design by the 2028 model. 🤷♂

I guess there can be at least one muscle car that’s electric for those who want new experiences. But as for gasoline engines, most people prefer tradition. Sure, muscle cars don’t have strict requirements but traditionally, they have a V8 and RWD, are usually 2-door but sometimes 4-door and they sometimes have a supercharger for added performance. This car is different from its predecessors in terms of powertrain, drivetrain and body style and almost nobody likes these changes. I don’t think any other car introduced this year will be criticized as much as this one, even though it’s very nice on the exterior. Speaking if that, people usually reveal the inside of something to be better-looking than outside but for this car, it’s the opposite, just like poorly-designed mattresses that may look elegant but the inside can deteriorate posture.

I like gas engines. I grew up on Mopar, all divisions. Why Dodge decided to cut their own balls off is beyond me. They are on the road to a boycott and are steadily losing their customer loyalty. Think Bud Light. I am a mature 65 year old Dodge customer and I will not be buying one of these. I’ll be buying Chargers and Challengers a few years older and very old classics, 64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72 and 73s. I hate when companies shove their shitty ideas down our throat …. Well you said you were committed to this electric shit……so… I don’t wish you well. The whole point of hot rodding is to get your hands inside the car and engine and make it special. Fuck your technology ….

Terrible. It needs a hemi..and super obvious...why not give the front end the iconic '69 look instead of the thinned out '68? This is just a bad idea. Especially when manufacturers are experiencing a drop off in EV sales.

If it didn't have the goofy fake sounds, it'd be kinda neat. If I'm getting an electric car, I want it to be COMPLETELY silent. But hopefully they include an option to turn it off completely

So why don't they make a ROW (rest of world car) built on the same platform? It couldn't be that hard. Someone made a new front bumper/grille for the G8X M cars and they are not manufacturers so I can't see how it would be difficult for BMW to do so. They keep doubling down on bad design which is mind boggling. I don't know why people think electric cars have to be ugly to differentiate themselves from internal combustion cars. BMW does not care about the North American market any more. There was a time when BMW could do no wrong. They used to be cars to be lusted after. Now they are just cars for clueless people that still think that BMW is a luxury brand (its not its premium at best).
