Who the hell are you to try to mock this legend. Gregg Rolie co-founded Journey with Neil Schon after they both left Santana. Without Gegg rolie, there would be no Journey. It was Gregg Rolie who was responsible for Neil Schon joining Santana as well. Greg also co-founded Santana with Carlos Santana. Neil and Gregg have been friends since Neil Schon was 15. I am so thankful that Gregg agreed to play with Journey in a concert in his hometown of Austin. I am glad more people are able to experience the greatness of this 2 time Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame inductee.

Growing up as teen in the late 90's I was over joyed as a girl when I finally heard, Kittie, and then Otep I wished there was more bands and artists like them growing up. Female Rock artists wasn't new, but metal artists was. It's as if gatekeepers didn't want the girls to enjoy metal either. I'm just so happy to know that there are dozens of great female metal bands and or female fronted bands.

The dude’s turning 77 in October. It’s impressive that he’s maintained as much of his voice as he has. The range is not there anymore, but the quality on the notes he can still hit is actually still pretty good. Definitely better than Vince Neil.

Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks, and other female singers of the 70'- through now. Lzzy is a pioneer of metal, alternative, pop, and country music 🎶. I've been fortunate enough to see her and the guys live several times and catch the rehearsal set.

I’m not as critical of Blackie because he he never denied it. He got called out on it and spoke the truth. It’s his band, if that’s the live sound he’s going after, go ahead. It’s up to us whether we buy a ticket or not. I’ll give him a few other passes as well, he’s older now, his vocal approach has always been pretty harsh, fuck it, if you think you’re delivering the best show possible by using a backing track, do it. I think people misunderstand what a backing track is, it’s almost like using a chorus pedal on your guitar. It’s NOT lip syncing, it’s just enchancing his natural voice. Huge difference with what Blackie is doing and say Paul Stanley who swore up and down a KISS show was live, when in fact he was using backing tracks, lip syncing and a ton of other audio tools to make him sound like he could still sing in the end. I love KISS and I love WASP, only one of those bands denied what they were doing until it became painfully obvious…and it wasn’t WASP.
