You mentioned care for these orchids. So you dipped the orchids into water and placed them on a paper towel. Did you place them into the ziploc completely dry or still damp? Bag open or closed? I have a lei I want to make and just don’t want to mess up the orchids

Hi Megan, I’m wondering what kind of sewing needle and material you’re using to sew in the white flowers?
@makeitmeganАй бұрын
For my Kahoas fresh and artificial, I use curling ribbon and a long needle. The size that I like is about 5 inches. It is called a long doll needle from Hobby Lobby

I use these “flowers” in gift baskets, among real flowers, and even as small wreaths for gifts.

Hi! Thank you for this tutorial. Should this be stored in the fridge before gifting? How long will it last? Thank you!
@makeitmeganАй бұрын
Yes it should be stored in the fridge. I recommend making it 24 hours or less before you need it. It can hold up 2-3 days, I have some videos of what it looks like on my Make It Megan Instagram highlight under “fresh leis”
