That was awesome ! You guys are some of my biggest Heroes. I'd really like to see and hear about Frankie Dees and was wondering about Mike Suyderhoud. They were some of the great pioneers of waterskiing. I'm really homesick now. I miss everyone !

Just started watching your KZfaq, been skiing long time men seven 32 mph can’t make 38 off. Just starting to understand how important it is to get speed before centerline. My question is at the gate turn in you talk about being progressive, wouldn’t that subject you to a long pull. Love the channel keep up the good work thank you so much

Thanks Marcus. We all need the reminder to value and maximize the time in between once in a while, and of course we need to extend it beyond the world of slalom. As an aside, I love the colour grading. It feels like a Wes Anderson film. Some amazing shots in there. Kudos.

Great interview! I just stumbled upon this looking through some of the other Flow Point videos and had to comment. I met Mike through a mutual skier friend a few years ago and he is an amazing ambassador for the sport. He is super humble and friendly and loves to share his stoke for skiing. The conversation was great because of how relatable he is. There are a lot of us middle-aged amateurs out there that are in to it for the challenge, community, fitness, and mostly just the fun of being on the water with high quality people. I would love to see some video critique of Mike's skiing! "Early" Mike vs. "32' off" Mike and what changes helped his progression would be awesome. It's difficult to find videos or lessons for people in the early progression of course skiing. I'm looking forward to checking out more FPM videos. Keep up the great work Jenny and Marcus (and Mike)!!!

Man, this was so good. I grew up spending summers at Beaver Lake in Arkansas with my family and friends. It's where I learned to ski the slalom course on my HO Mach 1, learned to barefoot, and do a barrel roll on my HO Edge 720 kneeboard. We had all the time in the world to ski, rest, eat, ski again, etc. It was amazing. Thanks for bringing back these memories, Marcus

This the kind of skiing i do as much as i can. Come a couple hundred more miles north and ski with me. We have several lakes that are similar. My biggest problem is finding someone to ski with. Every one just wants on the surf boat. But when you can get a couple of people to go out and ski with early morning or late evening on a mountain lake in an old ski boat…..nothing better.
