Sounds like scraping brake pads/warped rotor/ dust Shield scraping/ rock between rotor and pad or something like that

Will this switch being faulty be the reason why my Kia Ceed is stuck in park and won’t go into gear. The engine won’t start either. I can force it into neutral and only then the engine starts!!

Just to be sure, try using the temperature gun method of diagnosing bearings before you assume it is this.

na tuhle závadu jsou v manuále tyhle možnosti : Katylyzator, Horní Lambda sonda nebo jednotka ECU. Nicméně bych se mrknul v diagnostice v grafu jak fungují po zahřátí Lambda sondy (spodní Lambda nesmí kopírovat horní), dále tlak paliva a komprese motoru, tím bych začal

Thanks for this. Well presented. I prefer not to remove the battery or computer as you can access the 2 air box bolts with an extension and it lifts out OK. The 3 bolts holding the the fuel filter bracket to the sidewall can be accessed by undoing the securing bolts and moving the computer loom to the side. I use 6mm rubber chair tips to block the fuel line ends. I also refill the new filter with clean diesel (about 250 to 300ml) before re-install to avoid any air lock in the fuel line. Takes about 4 to 5 seconds for the car to start after. Filter part # 31922 A9000 also fits my 3/2014 build.

Can you tell me more about how to prime the fuel filter and remove air? I have a 2020 hyundai santa fe and I can't find hardly anything online about how to change the diesel fuel filter and properly prime it to bleed out any air. Do you need a OBD2 scanner to do so?

Having problems with the immobiliser light coming on and engine cutting out. Swap the immobiliser for a new one, car started, but after 10 mins had the same problem again. I wonder if anyone has any other ideas.

If your transmission shifts and the sound changes with it, its gears. If it sounds the same through shifts, its something else.
