Whenever Subaru themselves tune one of their blocks for motorsports, it's always the 207 block. That should tell you all you need to know about their confidence in their US designated mills

I love that you had to specify "Doesn't leak a drop of oil out the head gasket" Specifically the head gasket!
@TIRESIDE12 күн бұрын
Well that is the core of the head gasket issues. External oil leak. But our baja bug motor did need some fresh valve cover gaskets and some seals. 260k will do that 😂

Why use dom tubing? That seams unnecessarily expensive. Just use erw.

Easier to sleeve over the plugs without the weld seam.

Other then tha head bolt threads in tha block are weak asf. Ask me how ah ken that all tae well lol. Wae two different EJ22E's couldnae even get past bolt stretch procedure before tha threads ripped out tha block. Ah'm ah lassie who've been working on Subarus fer about 8 years now an ne'er had issue before these last two EJ22E's. All tha others have been great tho! So ah would suggest head studs when ye replace them. Cheers fae Scotland!
