Somewhere there are videos of the tubular cast on where you only long tail cast on half of the number of stitches needed plus one and go from there adding the rest of the stitches and doing the set up rows. So much easier.

Love the little bags! Can never have too many! Knitting the Andrea Mowrey "Framed" Rheinbeck sweater for fall. Looks hard but it's going really well. It's only my 2nd colorwork sweater. Happy baby knitting and hugs to all the new little ones!
