I live in northern Nevada. I live off grid. The one thing I don’t have is a well. I would love to have one, it’s very costly. In the winter I use snow for most things. I have stated this on other posts and I get people saying I’m not off grid because I have a cell phone. They don’t understand that your phone will work on cell service without the internet. Strange how people think.🥹

Yeah dude. I think a "rip chain" is just a 10 degree on the teeth chain if I'm remembering right? I'm not in the business, I had an Alaskan jig that I tried for a little while there.

Yeah they make mill/rip chains or you can just grind your own chain down to like 10 to 15 degrees

its nuanced, not a black and white situation: each has their own uses, gas for large scale high power portable things like vehicles and heavy machinery, batteries for smaller compact lightweight stuff like impact drivers, if you ask me im still reaching for a corded tool though if theres an outlet closeby

Im British with American in laws. California is a shit hole. Wouldn't live there if you paid , But so is texes. Both hot dusty shit holes with ugly architecture. Colorado is the one for me. Looks like the Scottish Highlands mixed with the swiss alps both in landscape and architecture. Just an amazing place would move there tomorrow.
