To sum up Shade the Rusical, Courtney Act played a small town ingenue (Penny) who had dreams of being a big pop star. When Penny arrives to town, Shady Lady (BenD) tempts her into drinking "Fish Oil". Then she turns into Bad Penny (Adore) who is a diva and abuses her "back roll" background singers (who were comprised of April C, Joslynn F, and the one and only Laganja!). A talking cat comes out of nowhere (Milk) to unify everyone after Bad Penny passes out and then they all live happily ever after! :P

during those times the reason why they dusted themselves with white powder which was also scented was to hide their own body odor as bathing was less of an everyday ritual then various other reasons syphillis outbreak, lead based make-up
