Amazing video again, absolutely on par if not better than the huge youtubers. You just need to figure out the algorithm, or perhaps its just a matter of time before it picks you up. Great music too!

Omg this is so good. Please make another video on this production style! Would love to learn more about your process. Also, could you elaborate on your VSTs, i.e. what a certain plugin brings to the mix and how to use it properly in different scenarios. Keep it up bro!

Hey, great finished product at the end there! It did have a Kaytranada feel to it. A suggestion for you if you want your tutorial to be cater to beginners (I don't know if you do, it's fine if you don't), but it would be nice to hear you explain your different actions a bit more. I had no idea what most of your modulation choices did as you just go through like 10 steps before explaining what one of them does to the sound. As a beginner, sure I could follow along and end up with the same result as you, but I would have learned nothing about the process and would not be able to re-use it in my own songs. If it's not your goal to cater to beginners too that's fine!

Thank you for the feedback, I get what you mean. I'm honestly catering towards intermediate and beginner producers. I'll keep it mind to explain some of my production choices more in videos to come.

It’s a different philosophy, but creators aren’t upheld to our schedule. If the quality is that good, it’s sometimes okay to wait until they’re ready.

Dope video man! One doubt, how you get the quantize menu little square on Ableton with the amount at 7:36? Much love!

Great video bro!! I just wish you spend a bit more time on the drum programming especially since no 2 claps/snares in a KAYTRANADA song sound the same, the kick s usually louder & more distorted & he uses that J Dilla bounce a lot meaning he doesnt quantize as much Overall though, 8.5/10

Bro this is truly an amazing tutorial. I think if you dig into some polyrhythm technique in house music, it might help you to make your drums more bouncy like kaytranada's.

What do you have serum's master volume set to?
@peepeepoopoo80062 ай бұрын
I have every single parameter set to what yours is and my kick sounds an octave higher when I play the same note. What the fuck. Edit: lol nevermind I was clipping, my volume was too high. Leaving this up so if you're dumb like me you can learn from my mistake. Edit #2: I had the coarse pitch 5.44 instead of -5.44 lol
