I honestly doubt they'll mess with the discounts unless they give JP the discounts as well. Can't imagine they'd want to embrace the endless rioting from global right after giving them a great step up design for the 9th anni banners. The foresight aspect is definitely a thing though I would say. Even back during 8th year's WWC when we first saw VB and Zamasu everyone was hype for them and thought they were gonna be insane and then soon after the VB high wore off. Of course that was a sync'd up celebration already, but still in general it's easy for even people like truth and others to think a unit will be good based on what we see and then we start to observe their flaws in action cause new events or mechanics screw over those units.

@@georgecastillo6690 foresight is definitely a thing. Just look at PHY Toppo that came out at the beginning of the year on JP. Barely anybody summoned for him on jp but now he’s received constant buffs with anni units, tanabata units, LR Ginyu and good ezas being released for his team since he came out. His value has shot through the roof imo

Tbh it is kinda weird that they haven't at least mentioned how they wanna deal with this. At this point they would either add them to WWC banners, weave them into the future DFEs after the sync, or do 1 MASSIVE banner that just includes them specifically and no matter how you slice it, it will be semi-ugly especially if they don't explain their plan. I wouldn't say they don't care about global cause of this screw up but I think if anything they should've taken that last dokkan now vid and gave us more info since everyone already knew about the 9th anni as a whole

@@Skyknight0072 if they don’t release cell max and jp’s August dfe unit before or during wwdc in some way then I’m just going to assume thats confirmation that every unit is getting their own banner and its going to be a long, messy slog of releases between wwdc and 10th anni.

I know what you mean about dokkan now being a bit less than desired lol. But to answer your questions I'd say global over JP for reroll and by extension 9th Anni over tanabata for a few reasons. 1 being the Anni overall is better than tanabata in terms of banner quality and the units they let you pull for overall compared to tanabata in my opinion (plan to make a vid talking about the celebrations in the future maybe). And 2 is that since we are closing in on a schedule sync up during WWC, if you're fresh on both sides you'd be having an easier time understanding the global side of the game (speaking as someone who refers to dokkan info and wiki for passives a lot lmao). I would say it's definitely still worth starting now. At no point is it too late to get into it! It might not end up being for everyone cause obviously it's got candy crush esque gameplay but still it's worth a try in my honest opinion. Far as the life of the game which I assume you mean how long will it live for (let me know if I was wrong), I would say it's been set up to continue basically as long as akatsuki and devs want to keep it going. Between Super EZAs, the fact there's no PVP aspect, and Dragon Ball having so much to pull from they can keep going for quite some time. Sorry about the rambling there but hope that answered what you were asking!

I respect it! I hope gogeta decides to drop for you a lot more than me cause I dropped I think around 1k stones and got completely shafted. But the new banner step up format should help you out! I also agree with your logic but just to add to your tanabata point, right now global's timeline of banners and whatnot usually has Tanabata's banners during Christmas (Makes sense since it's basically 6 months after your anniversary), however since our schedule sync would likely mean you join us on JP for 10th Anni during Mid January I imagine tanabata's initial banner won't exist and instead you will have Teq UI interlaced into some other DFE banner where we will not on JP's side of the game. Will be interesting to see, but in any case good luck to you and hope the summons are good enough where you can save more stones than you initially planned for!

You're pretty much doing a new game already I'd say just go on through and play through the anniversary using whatever stones you can to summon on the banners. Since it's a fresh account I'd prioritize discount multi rotations first and then use tickets on either beast or broly's banner (prob Beast's more than anything). @@Toches Yeah that’s very true plus WWC is coming soon so that’ll be another big thing on its own. Gammas far as I’m concerned are the second most valuable of the 4 new units in 9th anni but easily as long as you got beast you don’t even need Gogeta and gammas to handle business

Aye man thank you so much I still got a lot to learn far as quality and consistency etc etc, but I'm hoping the growth will be relatively quick regardless. Also I completely understand your position, I went after all the banners myself only for beast to be my one drop. I'd definitely say 55% > 100% far as pulling one copy of each over dupes of broly and beast but good thing is like you said tanabata would bring beast and broly back on that MASSIVE banner pool so you can use red coins worst comes worst to get broly or beast copies. Far as WWC I will talk about it as we get closer but I'm of the opinion we will see another new mechanic by then or at least a major update and as a whole it will be better than 8th year WWC (Maybe a low bar lol). Definitely if nothing else I'd say give the discounts and the ticket summon a go and from there if you feel it's wiser to save then that's totally fine and you can use WWC and Tanabata or 10th anni to your advantage in the future. I know countdowns already underway so best of luck!

For Teq UI or Beast? If it's the 9th anni I pulled for all of them but Beast was the only one who dropped, but Teq UI I've went after him about 3-4 multis now with no luck. Did do a single also which got a featured but it was another STR Jiren lol (crying inside).

That's fair lol though I think for sure beast is broken beyond compare. Speaking from experience I didn't get lucky with broly, gogeta or the gammas but right now Beast and the LR ezas are enough for me to clear anything. So if you want my opinion, Beast is WAY broken, followed by I'd argue the gammas then broly and finally gogeta. All really great but just how I'd kinda order them myself

That's actually a very good point for them given their taunt and whatnot! I'm sure within the next month a few stages will come to further push UI's value up but for the time being Beast still gotta edge out for #1 absolutely

Yeah I think that's the easiest way to describe how they compare, though I will say dokkan's most likely gonna lean back into longer fights soon and maybe they'll also make more fights have this no dodge gimmick like the SSBE fight so if they go into both then I can't see why UI wouldn't end up being #1 even if his base is still inferior to Beast

@@Skyknight0072 That may be true, but on the other hand we're starting to get bosses who super by over 2 million phase 1 turn 1, and it will only go up. UI base form is in a bit of trouble there. Amazing unit anyway, the fact he's in the discussion is already impressive.

In general as a new player you'll benefit heavily from all the banners so I'd say if you can manage it go for all the discounted multi summons. But far as units to prioritize I would say it's easily beast gohan and his banner which would include the 6th anni MUI and SSBE those 3 units are very powerful and given they all fit the super heroes team if you can manage to start getting that up and running you can clear so much content

Facts! DFE banners in general are just the best value banners to go after for all the featured units they got

Yeah they'd return in future celebrations. The side banner units like golden frieza and krillin and 18 become unfeatured SSRs you can randomly pull in any banner really. Gogeta and the Gammas would return as part of future carnival unit banners and Broly and Beast would be part of future DFE banners themselves. Right now after the 9th anniversary is done the anni units like beast and broly wouldn't return except during the tanabata celebration banners and during the 10th year anniversary. Hope that helps!

Since it’s a new account right away I’d say no carnival banner LRs cause their banners aren’t the best overall for a new start. Plus between the actual banners and the stone count you got I’d say the beast gohan banner is the best value. I wouldn’t say you should skip but definitely avoid spending all your stones. Maybe do 2 rotations on that banner with the free multis and see what you get and also use your free 77 ticket summon and with that hopefully you should get quite a few good units which you can use for a lot of situations. def summon on it. At least 1 rotation in each banner. You're a new account so most characters you get will be a great addition to your teams. Saving it all to get beast gohan will mean nothing if you dont have a team to build around him

Tbh I don’t think he’ll be powercrept unless they decide to add boss fights where they can nullify dmg reduction but otherwise he should be more than fine!

It’s funny you mention that cause I was planning to make a vid on if people should even skip the 9th anni 😂. But I have seen that idea being the main reason behind it and it is quite understandable to be fair. Like you said the 77 multi on beast should be fine! Gotta make the best educated decision for yourself!

@@Skyknight0072 Thats a good video idea and probably very controversial, too. Personally I might do that as I rarely do content when it instantly arrives(Red zone etc.) and I am pretty laid back. Plus skipping these banners now means that the 10th anniversary banners will have even more value for me as they will feature the 10th anni, 9th anni and maybe even worldwide units.

Yeah I got suggested some other ideas so I'll be testing them but I def noticed it with super bosses and earth bred fighters since I got them top 9 and 10 and yet they're called "earthling" lmao. Maybe that sort of naming scheme would be better for a different setup but top 10 prob ain't it since they're all still very good

I actually like that though I kinda feel bad looking back on it cause super bosses and earth bred are like top 9 and 10 in the game for me so calling them earthling was kinda crazy lol. But I'll def keep it in mind and do some tweaks!
