I love this kind of video, an army project from start to finish. I have a collection of these models, thank you for the inspiration. I'm doing some BADAB WAR era armies to fight each other. My main stumbling block has been what rule-set to use in order to base them accordingly. There are 5 or 6 versions including fan made.

I figured out a way to stop impulse buying Warhammer. It's called Qustodio >> it's an online software tool for parents to keep kids from visiting 'certain' websites. I use it to lock myself out of any/all Warhammer related webstores,, and a few other websites I impulse buy on. Then I take the login/password info and I keep it at work (10 mile drive from my house). So,, I can't even peruse Warhammer / ebay,, and be tempted to buy 'stuff'. This method has helped my bank account SOO much... I seriously hope other folks find this and it will help them too!!

this is why I don't like playing 40k, but i like playing necromunda. In 40k you can get nearly all your units wiped out on the first turn just because you don't go first and you happened to start too close to each other. necromunda has a light/heavy cover mechanic, wounding after match in character sheets- units getting crippled etc.

When I first played 40k I used Dark Angels and would often get ruined by my friends chaos cultist(imperial guard) army. When got a nid army that changed! the 'Stealers would haul it down one side of the board with the most cover, ideally woodland as they were still fast with difficult terrain. Once they got into the deployment zone it was dinner time! I didn't much like painting them though, they always came out looking a bit sloppy.

Sick. Gave me the itch to get back to painting.

The mix of units and absence of coherency rules make me think of Kill Team

I had Advanced Space Crusade, so have the Tyranid Warriors but sadly none of the board pieces. I've considered reconstructing it 🤔 Would also kill for those Tyranid "squig" models!

I watch your batreps over and over. I can't even watch a normal one with no narrative anymore. This is literally the best way to do batreps. Keeps the audio so good too especially with the soundtrack setting the scene!

Really loving the 2nd edition battle reports, it's the edition I started with so the nostalgia seeing those plastic monopose Orks and Grots, the backbone of my own teenage Ork army, in their vibrant colours is great. Also, the liberal usage of Chaos Gate and Final Liberation soundtracks is *chefs kiss*
