Me and my friend found my friends older brothers Pokémon binder from the ninety’s with all original base set Pokémon cards in there, however we was still kids at the time so we didn’t know the value and bent and broke most of them 😢

Video idea and to test your boys at ace.. get a bunch graded, break the slabs and resubmit to see if they're consistent.

I’ve been going through my son’s Pokemon collection from 1998. He didn’t even have some of the cards in sleeves. Some binders had cards that were not great and others that the cards were pristine. I’ve had over 100 cards graded with CGC. His base set shadowless Charizard was a 5.5 and his 2 1st edition Giovanni’s Persians from Gym Challenge were both 10’s. I couldn’t understand why some of the cards I thought should have graded higher came back much lower… then I bought a 10x magnifying glass and everything became pretty obvious.

He pays for the grading but makes revenue off of the video about the grading. It’s also advertising for the business. So in a sense you are correct.

@@Baker549if you're affiliated with ace and people use your discount code with ace you get commission, which can either be cashed out or used towards submissions, then with him actually owning the company and probably around 85% of submissions likely using his code, I doubt he actually pays much for grading. Otherwise you could use code TTF to get 5% off 😂😂
