I once lived in that district. That is really one of last true Parisian districts. You will hardly find any tourist in there. If you want to have a taste of the real true Parisian life, this is it. Real people with local habits, very friendly people. The bakeries are extraordinary. Restaurants served no fancy food. Human size district. I really enjoyed living there.

Population was 100% Greek until early 20th century. There is a first Turkish landing spot island that is dating to 1920s.

Oui c'est ça. Et quand le pays va se prendre 10% de PiB en moins dans la tête, tu vas pleurer comme une madeleine et dire que c'est la faute des gôchishes et telle ou telle minorité. Ton dégoût on te le rend fois dix, payot. Tu nous aimes pas parce que la vie est dure ici, et tu ne tiendrais pas trois jours.

I first heard of Constanta from Panait Istrati's books. Always wanted to visit. The mosque, the seaside, the open air museum (reading a translation of Roman tombstones was one of the most interesting thing I have done in my life) were all very impressive. People were very friendly to us, and this was a very nice surprise considering our history, I was worried Romanians will be more hostile to us. Otherwise I found Constanta very calm and not busy at all. 100% would visit again and recommend. Actually all Romania is so underrated.

Outside of the gorgeous city video.. I noticed that it's so clean in both of your Plovdiv videos I saw. Not a single paper on the streets or sidewalks. I know it's like that in the summer but I didn't expect it for the winter.
