I am using both lights for more than a year. My use is always indoors. The weak point I have found in the light is that the mount itself is plastic, although quite a firm and strong. Till date however no issues.

IR blaster not working with Alexa Poor service from HomeMate support team . They are saying we are not providing third party (Alexa) support .

Good to know. Is the IRblaster working with app? If it is then please look to enable the skill in the Alexa app. I have been using 2 of these at home and have no issues for almost a year.

Yes. The IR bulbs may require you to use the programming mode though.

The Echo is definitely the best speaker of the bunch. Good clarity, loud and bass you can feel. You will get a small party started. The Echo pop sounds a tad louder than the Echo Dot and also sounds a bit clearer for me. Bear in mind that this is a Echo dot 4th gen. So if you can live without an auxillary port, the echo pop would be a good fit for you at a cheaper price. The Echo show in my experience over the last couple of years is just a poor input device, both with voice and non intuitive touch commands. But if you absolutely need a screen, you can consider it. The echo flex is not avalaible as of filming this video. But as an input device it performs well. It wasn't a fair to put it up against the rest of the speakers.

Should work for 15 ft atleast, as long as it is in clear view of the end device. Works on the same infrared as your regular remote. So the distance will be similar.

Had the issue with one of my JBL soundbars once. Just power off everything and press and the sync button on the subwoofer after repowering. Also make sure the distance between the sub and sound bar is not too far. Hope this helps.

@@stuffido6080you mean First, turn off the soundbar. When I power it back on and connect it to myTV, press the sync button on the subwoofer. Then, re-establish the connection between the subwoofer and the soundbar. This should resolve my issue. You had the same problem what I have?

It can with jugaad. You will need to connect it to a preamp such as a mixer or zoom h1 and then use a TRS to TRSS cable. You'd be better off getting a condenser mic instead for mobile.

In the budget range i think zebronics has a soundbar with Dolby atmos. However the effect of dolby atmos can only be really appreciated in very high end soundbars or even more preferably with a home theater setup with separate speakers

It doesn't have a separate bass control. But it has preset eq on the remote that can modulate the bass vs high frequencies.

I'm sorry haven't checked. The frequency response is pretty flat with the slight weight at the low end and a drop off over 8khz, if it helps.

I would prefer the JBL simply because the sub is wireless. I haven't personally auditioned the Sony. The subwoofer on the Sony as well as surround speakers are wired. That would add a lot of clutter. If you are into competitive gaming, nothing beats a good set of headphones.
