I believe this truck does many jobs requiring different trailers. This trailer is not the regular trailer. It has the ability to load and unload also to hook a roll off container to.

My question is this: is there an advantage of having twin steering axels on a truck vice a single steering axel? the only place I have seen a truck with twin steering axels are in videos of foreign countries, I have not seen the first one on the interstates of the USA

Weight. Twin axles in the front gives you more payload than adding a third to the back, but since you're limited to 36 tons in the states I don't think there will ever be a need for that. They are not common down on the continent since they also have a lot tighter weight restrictions so it's a setup you'd only see domestic trucks run...

We don't have those engines in Europe since our trucks are a lot heavier and need more power / torque than either Cat or Cummins engines can manage.

@@Xyb3rTeCh Well for starters Australia is flatter than a pancake so given low enough gearing anything could pull heavy loads there. And I never said anything about them being too weak for the Australian market, I said they are too weak for Europe where you have 64 tonne lorries wanting to maintain a speed of 90 even while going up some pretty steep hills. A 500hp Cat isn't going to cut it there....

American trucks are crap. They drive with old technology. They don't know what diesel heater is, what xenon lights are. Automatic gearboxes. Adblue. Adjustable steering wheel. Abs breaks. Dual clutch. Real Diesel engines. Good driver copartmen. Isolated driver compartment. Air condition. Good tires. Winter tires. Good light. Small but good instruments panel. They also don't have good strong engines that runs for many hundreds of thousands km. They drive with nose trucks. And all the bling bling air filter houses and a long bonet and strait up exhaust pipes. If you have gave them a new Volvo or Scania they have believed that they was driving with the angels in heaven.

It Has noo Clearance, and boy, when you drive around far enough, the road gets very ,very bumpy, especially over in the Big Mountain region, that 4 axle truck would get ripped to shreds ,Pal.
