What is odd is it states it is a house spider and take it outside. It is called house spider for a reason! I literally have been observing one in my bathtub for the last two days. Finally decided to put a towel drapped it over the edge so it could climb out and go back to where it needed to go in the basement. I usually use a newspaper to let small spiders climb on and release it. However this one was fast and Huge so to scary and risky to trust that I could be successful. Thought it climbed out but it is remaining on the towel, I checked thinking it was gone and scared myself, screamed, and scared it I am sure. Poor thing just wants to find it's mate! What a dilemma Part 2

I held one before as well. Sorry for the detail but I could feel every leg moving on my hands and the weird texture/sensation was nothing that I’ve ever felt before since the one I held was freakishly big. It was super chill tho, tried to run away from my hands and it’s webs were strong. But eventually calmed down and then just sat on my hands. House spiders yes look terrifying, but they’re super friendly and I can confirm they wouldn’t dare bite you unless you force them to (like literally force them)

My whole family freak the hell out when seeing all spiders in the house apart from me. I think my Wife has engraved into my kid’s brains that all spiders are aggressive just because she’s so scared of them. When I see a spider in the house, I ignore them because I know they do us favours, but my wife won’t shut up if she sees a spider and demands me to get rid of it immediately.

Hmmmm I find it interesting that you would question the validity of your ancestors stories, but I think to my own discoveries from Metis cousins and family reunions are lively when storytelling happens because most people have heard the stories with different characters or spins. Thank God that the colonial pioneers took photos and kept documentation that enabled you to find the connection to your family.

I believe that's his point, they are stories with different characters and spins so what is real, what is embellished, what are false memories.

I remember with particular fondness the mushroom forays in the fall, spreading out our specimens in the nature house at FrancisKing park, the work B's making trails and the visits to Goldstream Park for the salmon run. I'm very happy to have found this video of Skip. He used to say that if we didn't take up the cause of conservation he would come back to haunt us...and so he has.

I think Jack Webster has a good opinion. But as a person who is disabled and relies on the charter for the protection of my rights as a disabled Canadian, I certainly feel it this interview does not have the best interest of Canadians Society in mind when he thinks that the charter is a silly document because someone wasn’t read their rights. Before statement was taken. if that happened to somebody in his position, he would have the financial wherewithal to mount of vigourous defense.
