Love the video. Brief, simple and fair !! My V6 Impala sounds really good when revving it out. Haven’t driven a 300 with the V6, so I don’t have a comparison.

There are only 3 beautiful V8 engines left. The Hemi, Coyote and 6.2 Chevy. I’ll happily drive the more affordable one as they’re clearly all roughly the same. One has a lighter body, one has a heavier body, and one is in the middle lol. All great. I’m not looking forward to the day when I have to buy a I6/V6 turbo clown truck. The tiny engine fully powered by scorching hot turbos will probably last 5 years. I guess I’ll be forced to buy a heavy duty in the future as they will likely still have V8’s.

Ford's are quick down low but suck accelerating on the highway trying to pass.

Fortunately, a good truck is not intended to race. Ford's are unreliable. I got 315000 miles off my Dodge Dakota. Had nothing but problems with three Fords with less than a 100000.

Thats funny because my friends 4.7 ram beats my ford 5.0l many times. And I'm not afraid to admit it I didn't buy my truck to race at the drag strip

Pretty dead even as they should be. Just bought a 23 ram 3.92, things a tire smokin ripper. Wonder if they had proper 89 mid grade in ram as required. Very noticeable loss in performance when running reg 87

over sized tires on the ram.

The Ford 302 beat the Dodge 360, wow. Of course the type of transmission and rear end can make a difference too.

I’ve owned both trucks. Both great trucks. I had a ram pull away from me in my Tundra. No surprise. The traction control on the tundra really does change shift points and response more so then other brands. I currently own ram love it too. There are pros and cons of both. You might have to replace more parts on a ram but parts are cheap tear up a tundra which I have several times and parts will break you. If I had to pick one with 300 k on it I’d go tundra but a worn out truck in the end is a worn out truck. I calculate at my expense I’ll save over $16,000 in gas ⛽️ alone owning my current ram bc my tundra avg only 12 mpg the way I had it rigged out.

What rear gears were in these? Super important to know this info, and the weight of trucks, at least close estimates.
