La flemme est un état d' esprit ! Des régions entières ont cette philosophie , les bouches du Rhône par exemple 😅😅😅😅😅.

Actually atter thinking about it for a few minutes it makes some sense (to me anyway), you reaaaallly have to think about the possible etymology of it though (and maybe make a couple of slight stretches), heres my personal explanation of it So in english when we're talking about someones physical appearance we might refer to it as their "looks", presumably this comes from the idea that how you present yourself externally effects how people percieve you, or look at you as it were. So by changing your "looks" aka physical appearance youre changing the way people look at you. Ok so now lets go over to French, presumably at aome point they picked up the "physical appearnace" version of the eord "look" rather than the verb version (to look at something). And in English we also have the word "revise" which comes from french BUT it actually has a bit of a different meaning and usage in English which is where the whole "relooking" thing starts to come into play. So in english when you "revise" something it means you change it (its usually used in the context if documents) and the changes are called... "revisions", as in, "vision", as in, "sight", as in, "looking"... And in french the word revise literally means "to look again". And as i mentioned before a makeover is when you change your looks to improve them, aka, you *REVISE* them. So, my theory abiut "relooking" is that its meant to be a double entendre combining both the english and french definitions of the word revise + the word "looks" because youre specifically revising your physical appearance. Hence, "relooking", youre revising your looks But thats just a theory, a LINGUISTICS THEORY.... thanks for resding 😂

Les Parisiens ne représentent pas la France non plus. Ils ont une mentalité à part c'est vrai. Venez plutôt visiter notre belle région Centre avec ses Châteaux la plupart en bord de Loire. Visitez le Tarn-et-Garonne, magnifique. La Bretagne, magique. On a plein de belles choses à voir en France, n'allez pas vous enterrer dans le béton gris sinistre de Paris.😘

I think the explanation is simple. The English translation for Valérie Pécresse is Liz Truss. But the current Olympics will have a good impact. Finally the world will start to understand why French people always complain and protest. Because strangely both tourists and athletes have started to complain and protest…

It’s not the « Maire de Paris » that went to swim into La Seine, it’s the minister of sports! Do your research ! Just kidding, since you live here since 15 years, you own the right to have Ze Flemme like a true parisian. ;-) thanks for the funny video

Don't know if it's flemme. I think it's much more anger. After the shitshow of the legislative elections (which Macron still refuses to respect, since we still don't have a left prime minister), and after all of the authoritarian bullshit the government pushed for the Olympics (like forcing students out of their social housing for the Olympics, just for the police housed there to complain about the poor quality of the housing and be relocated??? when the poorest students are houseless??? or people be encouraged to leave Paris for the summer (as if anyone could just leave their job or house for 3 weeks), or most of Paris being unaccessible for most French people (or accessible to the richest ones bc tickets are EXPENSIVE), or the price of the subways, or how many new infrastructures will only serve for the Olympics because they're not fit at all for a daily public use, they wasted more than a billion euro to clean the Seine only for the river to be too dirty for the competition, etc, etc. France is becoming more and more authoritarian, and sadly, we won't be able to have la flemme to fight it.
