I live in San Juan Capistrano,CA. For the past two days a juvenile bullock oriole has been happening himself to the meal worms.

Ideally, this would be done in a total dust free and non-sun-lit place. But, considering the situation, it was the best we could do. It was either do a basic cleaning or do no viewing since there was a coating of dust from the previous night's frost and dirt. The mirror was much better for the cleaning. We did have to dodge the reflective sunlight!

I used your advise and techniques to clean my 16 inch mirror for the first time ever, it had a film of smething ,possibly tobacco tar/, and spts all over, it looks brand new now, thanks for the video.

We used distilled water and drop of Dawn dish detergent. Acetone was not used. I spoke to many different astronomers a couple weeks ago about acetone, and they would all agree with Chris. Anyways, thanks for the input everyone!

Acetone and optical grade wipes. If you mirror coating can't withstand acetone, you got a shit coating.

@TheJazuma Pouring is another option for folks. When they are especially heavy, that is the preferred option.

Don't they get whip lash from your immersion practice? Like you seem to dunk them pretty fast?. Why not pour water 3 times over the catacumens (not sure how its spelt, sorry), whilst they are in the pool?

The correct way is by three immersions. An the correct words are. "You are baptised in the name...." and not "I baptise you....

OH NO!!!! If he left out the word "of" the poor souls are all going to go to hell!!!!!!! WE NEED MORE "OF"!!!!

Ah! I see what you are saying. I sometimes speak too quickly at Mass and the recording didn't pickup all my words. The word "of" is being said though not very loudly and likely too quickly. If I somehow don't say it, it is not due to any intention to be disobedient. I strive to do what the Church intends at all times. Thanks for the clarification! I hope I've done the same.

I'm saying the correct form for the Sacrament is, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Spirit." It sounds like you say, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit." If I'm wrong, I apologize.

Just for clarification since it doesn't come out clearly in the video, I do say "...I baptize you..." as you quoted from the Catechism or are you referring to my added preposition "of" during the rite?

Yeah, that's just great. Why not add some tropical fish? By the way, you refer Vatican II but don't pay any attention to the Catechism: 1240 "In the Latin Church this triple infusion is accompanied by the minister's words: "N., I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." It's NOT "In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit," as in the first baptism shown.
