Instead of blasting through the assembly it would have been nice if you had shown what to do with the small wire near the pellet hopper. Do I just pinch it between the hopper and thegrill body?

Unfortunately that is exactly how traeger design it, but no worries, I've had mine for years now with no issues.

@@OldGuyoutdoors That's fine if that is how they designed it, but they couldn't be bothered to even mention the wire in the assembly instructions. I'd have to give their instructions a D grade.

So did you install the Go Power modulator? And what did you do or where did you run the wires from the roof into the battery area under the bench seat?
@OldGuyoutdoors
@OldGuyoutdoors Ай бұрын
We ran the wires next to the ram that lifts the roof, through the bed and into the box with two lithium 59 Amp hrs batteries

I bought this generator new in 2014. Love it! Hear are some notes: The 12V/8A DC outlet is only used with the supplied charging cables to charge a battery. It has a 8A pushbutton CB. The 120V/20A outlets have a 20A pushbutton CB. The 120V/30A RV outlet does not have a pushbutton CB, but has microprocessor overload protection. While the outlet is rated for 30A, the generator is rated for 23.3A (continuous use) or 25.8A (maximum output) at sea level. The 120V outlets are NOT GFCI. The generator has a floating neutral (neutral not bonded to the ground/frame.). Decibel Rating: 58dbA @ 23ft. Weight: 95lbs w/ full tank of gas. Carburetor: High altitude jet available for altitudes above 3,500ft. Run Time: 8hrs @ 25% load. * Generator is discontinued from Champion :(

Enjoyed your video. I have a slide in 2010 FourWheel Hawk camper. I have installed it on a few 1/2 ton trucks, but just went to Chevrolet 2500hd truck. I got the idea of using the 7 pin trailer connector as you did, to avoid running wires from the battery of the truck to the camper. Love the idea that it is all plug and play, no wires to cut and splice on truck!

Be careful with these. Mine won't allow me to load or unload because they don't clear the jack stands. Installing these while your camper is in place but not lowered down is a nightmare!
