Well how else are you going to be aware of the things that can damage your home and cause thousands of dollars of damage. Look homeowners are focused on paying mortgage, home insurance, car insurance, utilities, tv subscriptions, phone bill, internet. The list GOES ON, so it's hard for them to be aware of these things that damage homes because they're already focused on so many other things. I knocked doors for pest control and the idea is that bugs cause wood damage inside of walls. People don't know this so what I do is knock and I talk to the people who care about their home and I leave alone the people who don't. It's super simple and if you can't handle the fact that people wanna help the uniformed then kick rocks💁♂️

I set all of my appointments now from door to door. Tonight, I was only out for one hour, from 6:00 to 7:00 and I set nearly enough for the entire week. I think only Thursday is still open without an appointment. Door to door is by far the best method for me. I used to do a mail out program and a door hanger program and both cost money, they were very time consuming and didn't generate very many leads. It might take 10 hours just to prep the materials to go out each week, then I had to pay for the materials and the postage and maybe I'd get an appointment or two out of that. Now I knock doors, set plenty of appointments in an hour or two, it is basically free and the best part is, even though I set appointments and go back, I get to enjoy the sense of familiarity since they've already met me before. And never overlook the power of familiarity.
