I feel like Palworld focused it's brand identity on creature designs that Look Like Pokémon to a detrimental degree. With other monster/creature collecting games (Like Digimon, Yokai Watch, SMT, etc) the creatures display an art style and design conventions where you couldn't say, mistake an SMT demon for a Pokémon, instead focusing on a unique brand identity that didn't rely on Pokémon. Palworld doesn't have this, unless the creature designs were heavily altered its brand identity will always rely on Pokémon, and will come across as a cheap imitator as a result.

Venusaur - Yes Feraligatr - Nope, its actually Typhlosion. Feraligatr and Typhlosion are tied in neutrality and type weakness, but Typhlosion has 2 advantages, which Feraligatr doesn't have. Taking movesets into consideration isn't really fair, considering Totodile cannot even learn Ice Fang until level level 20 (And that is only in the remakes, its not even able to learn any Ice moves by level up in the originals, its like saying Charmander is the best to use in Kanto due to it being able to learn Fly in Yellow and Metal Claw in the remakes). Swampert - Yes Infernape - Nope and its not even close. Best starter in Sinnoh is Torterra. Torterra is strong against Rock, Water Steel, Electric (With the immunity even), Fire and Ground, while its weak against Ice and Bug. Infernape is strong against Grass, Ice, Steel, Rock and Bug. However, it has more weaknesses than Torterra, since its weak to Water, Ground and Psychic. (So it has more weaknesses). However, also looking at Cythia's team type wise, Torterra checks Lucario, Gastrodon, Milotic + is the only Sinnoh starter not weak against Garchomp. Emboar - yes Greninja - Nope and its not even close. Delphox does way better in a playthrough. Greninja is weak against Fighting, Electric, Grass, Fairy. Delphox is only weak against Rock during the gym run, while it has only 2 weaknesses overall with Rock and Water. Delphox is strong against Bug, Fighting, Grass, Ice and Steel. Greninja is only strong against Rock, Psychic and Fire. Primarina - yes Cinderace - Nope - we have 2 different versions with 2 exclusive gym leaders, however, overall Inteleon is the better mon, since due to the lack of Electric type specialist, its only weakness is Grass, while itself is strong against Fire and Rock (In Sword). Cinderace is weak to Water and Rock (In Sword). In Shield, Cinderace loses its Rock weakness and gains another advantage with Ice (Next to Grass). Leon is gonna be the deciding factor here, which makes Inteleon fare better Skeledirge - Nope. Skeledirge reigns supreme during the Gym Run (Being strong against 6 out of 8 GL and neutral against Larry - while also being weak against only 2. Ququaval reigns supreme against the titans (Its only weak against Bombirdier) and has the advantage over the rest, while neutral against Dondozo/Tatsugiri. Quaquval also does best against team Star, being strong against Fire and Dark, Skeledirge doesn't have any advantages type wise (While being Weak to Dark) and Meowscarada is weak against 4 out of 5 star members. I haven't even talked about the Elite 4 yet, where Skeledirge is only strong against 1 member (Steel), with Quaquaval being strong against 2 (Steel and Ground). If i take into account Blueberry Elite 4, Ququaval is strong against 2 of them (Steel and Fire) while Skeledirge is only strong against 1 of them (Steel). However, i am not going to take into account Blueberry (Not that it effects the end result anyways). Quaqual is the best to use in the game, as its the best to use in 2 of the 3 paths (Titan and Team Star). In the long run, stats, abilities and movesets don't matter if you cannot do something with it (Like, if we line up movesets, by proxy in every game the Water types are the best, because they tend to have the best movesets as well). Taking Protean for Greninja is problematic in the grand scheme of things, since Greninja didn't have acces to Protean in normal playthrough, since the abilities weren't released, nor could you breed a Froakie with Protean.

I would say that in gold and silver typlosion is better than feraligator but in heart gold and soul silver feraligator is probably better due to having acess to powerful ice type moves like ice fang wich helps alot with some of the late game fights

@bigbigyung396326 күн бұрын
Late game you have plenty of pokemon options so it's the least important the most important is the first gym because you have access to the least amount of pokemon, scorbunny is good against the first gym wich is great for a starter also if you wanna talk about late game then fine, Leon's Charizard is easy to deal with as you can prepare with having multiple pokemon with rock type moves that will one to two shot it and that's also one pokemon on one trainer while cinderace is good against chairman roses entire team wich is another end game battle

For Johto give Heraross more screen time since Oak took him away. He had all the potential to be his Johto ace. Also you forgot phanphey. Phanphey should have become Donphan earlier. The rest of the changes you made I like. For Hoenn give Glalie more screen time because he should a lot of power and potential in his small screen time. His Sinnoh team is fine. The only bad part is Tortera was done dirty. I'd get rid of Gible because Ash never really needed him if he already had five Sinnoh pokemon and still brings back his old pokemon for the Sinnoh league. If he didn't have Gible Tortera probably would have done better. For Unova the answer is more than just evolving. The answer is give him less pokemon as I said with Gible. The problem with the Unova team is he caught too many when he only needed five or six like the previous ones which caused them to be poorly balanced. I'd say get rid of boldore and palpatoad and the rest would have had more development. Kalos and Alola are fine. For Galar there all good he just didn't catch enough Galar pokemon. I'd give him Impidimp, Grookey, and corviknight.
