I have an idea. 32 grain 0.2 caliber 0.65 inch long projectile, comprised mostly of the double arrowhead steel penetrator of the M885A1's 62 grain projectile, saboted in a custom 3d printed nylon sabot clocking Mach 3 from a 4.6 inch extended threaded barrel of a G23/32. Estimated 3.5 grain sabot weight. 798 ft/lbs from 3,350 fps 87.33 ft/lbs from 3,350 fps for the sabot. In relative terms, 4.0 ft/lbs of recoil from a G23/32 with an extra 3 oz of Streamlight TLR-8, extra 1.5 oz of threaded extended barrel+micro compensator. 2.8 ft/lbs of recoil after 30% recoil mitigation from the compensator. For reference, 14+1 rounds of +1 Longbow (357 SIG) at 7.5 grams/cartridge. 13.3 grams is standard for a 125 grain 357 SIG cartridge. 12.0 grams for a 124 grain 9mm+P load, which generates 5.6 ft/lbs of recoil for the FBI's 1220 fps load, 15+1 capacity in a stock G19. G-flex trigger fires once upon trigger being pulled, once upon trigger being released. Two rounds with total recoil equivalent to the 9mm+P 124 grain at 1,220 fps that generates 410 ft/lbs. Except my load generates 1,596 ft/lbs from the projectiles, 174.66 ft/lbs from the sabots. Four entry wounds, zero exit wounds, two wounds penetrating 10-12 inches, two wounds penetrating 5-6 inches. 1,770.66 ft/lbs per trigger pull and release. 50% more energy than an M4 carbine with M885A1. 12.5% more energy than an AK-47 with an 8 gram (123 grain) projectile at 2,400 fps. 80% the energy of a 12 gauge 1.25 oz shotshell at 1,350 fps. For the recoil of a 9+P. Defeats threat level III armor. With a 25 round stick magazine and the 14+1 capacity in a flush-fitting magazine in the weapon, plus holster, you're looking at 3 lbs total for a 40 round loadout. What I hope to fund that will complement this weapon system nicely is a recoil spring guide housing a recoil-proof high frame rate camera with high resolution, batteries, circumferentially wound printed antenna transmitting short range to a smart watch with a slightly oversized display worn on the inside of the opposite wrist. Look around corners. Positively identify via the 500 lumen flashlight, aim accurately via the 5 mW green laser. Engage from a position of cover accurately, with minimal recoil. Defeat armored opponents up to threat level III. A lady under 5 feet tall and under 100 lbs can effectively manage this weapon system. 100% legal. Affordable, in relative terms. Custom 1:10 twist barrel will be required to stabilize the 32 grain projectile appropriately. This is the best that I've been able to devise given specific constraints. Beats that 5.7 x 28mm for effectiveness in a variety of circumstances. Special Operations Forces would benefit, I think. That and some individuals that have heightened security concerns. I have heightened security concerns. You get that way after the fifth murder attempt that you survive. If you survive all five. Saw George Soros twice in the last half week. i heard that a lot of good footage was cut from rocky 5, and that it could have potentially been a much better movie. i will say this. i didn't like it when it came out. but i've really warmed up to it over the years. it's certainly more grounded and realistic than rocky 4.

MM is my favorite director, no one can capture a scene and moment the way he does. He actually sends out photographers to scout places for him and he scours over the photos. He's amazing, more people should take notes of his craft.

I love the use of the Rocky theme at the end of War/Fanfare I wish it was in the movie version

I’ve been a Mann fanatic since I saw “Thief” in 1981 (back then it went by the title “Violent Streets” in the U.K.) Despite his mis-steps with “The Keep” and “Blackhat”, I consider him one of the last real directors left. Once he’s gone and we’ve lost Scorsese and Tarantino who is there? I struggle to think of anyone. Looking forward to his Ferrari biopic but would really like to see him return to the crime genre....or maybe a war movie.

How Brian Thomson didn’t get an Oscar for this is beyond me

Recuerdo cuando la fui a ver de estreno en el cine metropolitano, antes de que se conviertiera en teatro, la verdad la disfruté mucho, y me gusto mucho, y eso que el stallone no le echo muchos huevos que digamos, pero la trama, las situaciones se me hicieron de lo más lógico, es la realidad de toda la ficción que sucedió en rocky 4, y la pelea en la calle con tommy, aparte de que me gusto, se me hizo lo más normal, el no podía regresar al ring, para una pelea de 12 o 15 rotunda, vamos, ya no hubiera tenido la congruencia, así que así cómo sucedieron las cosas, estuvo súper bien.

Nicely done! I'm going on to a friends podcast later this month to discuss movies and we're going to list my favorite directors. Mann is obviously my number 1. The guy literally has given cities a beating heart in his films among his other staples which he always keeps close to his chest. I'm pysched to see what he does with Ferrari and I truly believe he is going to adapt HEAT 2 in the very near future. If so, it will be his magnus opus and I will be there opening night to view it.
