Axl is actually telling the truth here. Ive hated the guy when I understood about life less. It was popular to hate on him because many resented him and trashed him. Now I realize, Axl is actually the one who always had to be alone and isolated because his band was taking heroin and were mostly out of their minds 24/7. He fought Slash and gang tooth and nail and won the court cases. Slash was always a self serving and very disrespectful asshole, Duff was and still is a spineles coward while Izzy, although being a creative force in the band, was always trying to push his own agenda. Adler was the goofball in the band that nobody could rely on. People liked Slash more because he never spoke and always played cool. Axl was the one who always had to speak up and adress issues. Basically, he was Guns and Roses. The only crime Axl did was being a primadona but he was the one who kept shit running. Also what I love about Axl is he will tell everything in front of everyone. He never shied away and he was never diplomatic. He never gossiped or took cheap shots at people like James and LArs did. With Slash Lars or James one never knows where he stands. With Axl you know where you stand. He wont smile to your face and pretend he cares for you if he doesnt. Axl never indulged in that fake humbleness like Metallica. . MAny people berate him for that.
