Yes and these boxes itself are essentially located right near high rises with handicapped or elderly so we usually try to load these up as much as we possibly can!

Yes it was! We quickly sold it to a younger gentleman who had been really wanting one and couldn’t really afford a brand new. So we struck up a small deal and sold it! The gentleman was so nice to meet and it was just meant to be!

there is a more efficient way to do this ... one of you should be driving around looking for metal, once found you text the location to the other person (in the van). then the first person carries on looking for more metal while the van driver loads up. this way yo will always have someone looking for metal and someone loading metal. hence you should find and load double the amount

We stay very local and don’t drive more than 10 miles for scrap. Scrap yard is close to us as well so it’s not that bad in all honesty

Heck yeah, I used to scrap all the time, plenty of $$$ to be made. Used to fix and sell washers/dryers all the time, most were simple fixes, the older ones that used timers, fusible links, door switch....easily fixable and make $75 - $100 each every time. Water Heaters, many times just replace the Anode or thermostat. I say go for it! :-)

We absolutely love to find scrap! It’s a fun hobby that’s quickly turning into a very regular daily adventure for us but yes if you do it right, there is tons of money to be made. We bought our trailer recently and it’s already given us way more opportunities!

Sometimes we can’t help those kind of people however we also donate to food shelters in the area just haven’t had a chance to get any footage. We’ve been doing this for a year now but we figure people need hope in 2024 that there’s good people out there still!

Wouldn't any of the boxes that have individual packages be best to seperate so other people can have a couple of them instead of just one person taking the whole box.
