They’re 6 x 14 but running adapters which make the offset -9. The tyres are 155 55 14

What do you think about the Giz fab ones? Also Humphries offers shocks and dampeners for around the same price also but those are by bilstein. Only thing is they aren’t adjustable which is one less thing to worry about I guess.

ECU stays exactly the same. Runs the 1.4 with no problems, no need to change it!

Hey Mate, I really love your videos and think it's great what you do with the little Micras. In Germany they seem to have 15 previous owners and the last pizza delivery service throws the car on the scrap heap. Where do you get all the parts for the conversion? Here you get a chassis at most, rims of course but nowhere near like the ones you have and one or two sports exhaust systems. Nothing more. Thanks in any case for your videos.

Thank you for the kind words! I just think they’re a much more common car over here in the UK, a lot of people import wheels from Japan. And custom exhausts etc are made by companies like Gizfab, there much more of a love for Micras here.

Always always check valve heights before shimming, dry fit each cam and measure the gap, a little measuring and calculations will inform you exactly what thickness shims are required. Takes a little longer but you’ll be 100% sure it’ll run...that’s if you’ve taken the valve to piston clearance into account too. Cool vid guys, hope you work it out

They’re a good platform and a decent aftermarket scene for them! I just prefer how NA cars drive to be honest, but I think I may boost it soon for some extra power.

My mums side of the family are in the UK. When visiting them one year in the late 90s I bought a copy of 5th Gear magazine or something like that and there was a 3-4 page road test and photo spread of a Micra with this kit and interior. The article was called "The mouse that's RAW". I loved it and it was a big reason I bought a K11 of my own eventually. Frustratingly my mum threw the magazine out when I moved out of home.

Purely aesthetics and preference. Most people prefer the look of a Preface and you have the benefits of a newer car. Running a 2002 with the look of a 1995 is pretty cool!

Do u still use the rear spring I noticed how the rear coilover had a spring around it which bolts to where the shock absorber goes probably stupid question ask but quite confused

What kinda Micra was it before the pre face swap? There are 4 different looks so a b c d… which one was it? Also is it just fitting the pre face parts or is it also getting new parts that the new panels fit?

It was a 2nd facelift before, so a D. It’s just fitting the panels, all that has to be changed is bumper brackets and bonnet latch, and headlights of course. It’s an easy swap, we did it in a couple of hours.
