How the germans saw anything through those dirty binoculars beats me !!

I'm a big fan of film noir, never seen this till today and it is terrific! Fred MacMurray, who may have been cinemas all time heel from such films as "The Caine Mutiny" and "The Apartment" is back at it in a role quite similar to "Double Indemnity" as Fred is once again led astray by a sexy woman to engage in crime. This time the femme fatale is Kim Novak, who looks absolutely gorgeous in her film introduction as Fred becomes her "Pushover" Great script by Roy Huggins, who also created "Maverick" and "Rockford Files." Plenty of cigarettes and big cars!

What a wonderful innocent movie about politics...how it should be in times when it clearly isn't...people look deep into your hearts..and let your silent simple and true heart guide you....simple friendly goodness...and don't worry the outcome...from Munich Germany

Fairly entertaining, if implausible and slightly too unbelievable, B movie. Goes to show how far a good premise can carry a film. The characterisation is way too thin for a film like this to entirely work.

Refreshing to watch a movie and enjoy it. No cussing, just folks going through life. This is what entertainment used to be.

One of the most ridiculous movies I've ever seen. Hopkins in his worst role. For a German, the movie is a disgrace and incredibly amusing at the same time.
one thing wrong with this film is that Kenneth More is in it.

It's so '' Hollywood '' it made me vomit....Incredible cast made it bearable at best ... Loretta Young's fake swedish was bad....A much better Loretta Young movie is The Bishop's Wife.

This movie was huge letdown. A real waste of Edward G. We still put Americans in prison on bogus charges but now we invite undesirable criminals into our country.

Now? Ten years before this movie was made the government brought Nazis war criminals to the US and put them to work in the science industries.

Thanks for posting this. The Joe Kane films are clearly different from the Billy Whitney films and I love both of them. I hope you have a chance to put more Roy movies up, despite the fact that they aren’t getting a lot of views right now. Have faith!

Would it be fun to use the Stewie family guy time machine to gain access to the Bismark and ride the ship down the greased ship slide to the water with a couple of non white Germans to the water and hand out pamphlets that tells the time of the demise of the Bismark and the rest of the German war effort. 0:50 -1:24 1:28:00- 1:32:07 FG kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ea95krRjxr7FXZ8.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d5x5f8uIuaysZIk.html

Sir Cedric Hardwicke gave a great performance. I'm glad there was no miscarriage of justice, because the entire case was built on only circumstantial evidence, the flimsiest evidence there is.
