I had a big load to transport - used my bike as a mule - as my wrist was not swinging - no steps where recorded. Might strap it to the ankle next time. 😂 Mini Trampoline is a great indoor way to mimic walking - and you get more steps in, per min of activity.

Very rough estimations place 10000 steps as equivalent to going 5 miles. Even rougher estimations on that place five miles of movement at 500 calories for the average person, so at 20000 a day you are looking at an extra 1000 calories burned on top of everything your body naturally uses up anyway. Over a week that comes out to 7000 calories, or a rough 2lbs of body fat (assuming the body only uses up fat stores and not anything else). Over 100 days an average person will be looking at a loss of 28.5 lbs (100 days * 2 lbs / week (7 days) ) assuming that their caloric intake is otherwise equal to their base expenditure. Ultimately, the fastest way to lose weight is to simply restrict what you eat. But food is unfortunately oftentimes delicious, and exercise has a number of benefits beyond simply a lower number on the scale. It will be interesting to see how close you come to the estimates at the end, and how your other factors improve as well. It can (pretty much) only do good for you, so I wish you well on your journey. Get it done.
@HappilyMundane
@HappilyMundane 2 ай бұрын
technically should have rounded the 28.5 up to 28.6 as it's 28.5714 blah blah blah but it's already inaccurate from the get go because pretty much nobody falls upon the perfect assumed "average", you're pretty much guaranteed to be above or below it to some degree.

A great step hack is to spread it out over the whole day. People have it in their minds that they to get it all done as fast as possible. But doing 6-8/15 min walks spread out over 10-12hrs is the same as doing one long 90 min to 2hr walk. If anything, all the walking snacks keeps you more generally active. If you go through all the steps quickly and in 1-2 big walks, you wind up sitting WAY more during the entire day. Versus doing shorter walks every few hrs or so.

After comparing Skillshare and Udemy I have come to the conclusion that Skillshare has nothing more to offer that Udemy does not. Most courses on Skillshare are on Udemy and are paid once and you have full access for life. Whereas with Skillshare you have to subscribe yearly. Skillshare creates an impression of have a certain quality but blocks you from previewing courses. Most courses are mediocre and do not give high quality information.

It’s amazing he was able to do the 12k all in one go that first day- I find after a couple miles I definitely need a break, definitely 3 miles I have to take a break. I find one longer walk, and 2 smaller walks throughout the day are what work best for me. Currently doing 10k daily average and looking to increase it to 12!

Im surprised you injured yourself while shadow boxing. I shadow kickbox four times a week for 30 minutes, sometimes an entire hour. You kust make sure you are stretching and doing a good warm up before shadow boxing, also drink water. Your muscles couod begin to cramp and lead to injury without enough water

I'm not breathing in. I explained in the video that my core naturally got stronger so I was able to keep my core muscles engaged more. I don't measure weight as it's a pointless metric when trying to reducte in body fat. I just use a tape measure in a challenge I'm about to begin, a Dexa scan.
