Single cab: 1. Cheaper 2. Faster 3. More fuel efficient 4. Higher hauling capacity 5. Better turning radius 6. More off-road capable (shorter wheel base) 7. Heat/AC fill up cab immediately 8. Less stress on engine 9. Less stress on transmission 10. Less stress on suspension 11. Better braking capabilities 12. No blind spots 13. Tires last longer 14. That classic look! 15. You're never the village taxi!

One thing to remember price-wise though, the single cab is cheaper but likely won’t hold as much value on the resale end (except for things like a Cummins or tacoma)

@@joetheman357 I went today and there going to take mine in and unfortunately pull the engine and break it completely down and tear case apart l, inspect and re seal if they see no issues with the case itself. I only have 1200 miles on mine. It’s leaking worse than I’m willing to deal with for $33k bike. If it ain’t right when it’s done they going to do it again lol. Good luck on yours and hopefully I can get mine squared away as well.

I get it. This is pick up #6 for me and my third regular cab. I have a storage solution suggestion. Build a custom wood shelving unit to fit behind the seat. I used to live in a rural area where everyone had at least one truck and I only ever saw one person make one. It was poorly done but a great idea. So with my 20 xlt I decided to build version #2 and it's much better than what I saw but there will be a dramatically improved with version #3 - final. Improvements to #3 will include being in 3 sections since behind the center section is different than behind a seat to get back the full use of the center seat storage. This center section will not only be a different depth but will be covered in such a way as to prevent items from flying out during hard stops and to look better. Every piece will be pre cut, pre jointed and pre finished as assembly MUST take place on site to get the desired tolerances. I will stay with using 1" limber over plywood for the factory cut. I will stay with using plastic containers that were bought for to fill behind the seat shelving. I may buy some different sized other ones when I determine exact dimensions or go full custom wood units. The proper execution of this idea will give you a truly custom truck - "Your Truck". I hope this helps everyone.

That slight hesitation on startup, where the starter engages, but struggles to get it turning over, means you'll be needing a new battery soon...your cranking amps are dying...that's why it does that...it should be spinning the motor over as soon as it engages...just a 'heads up'...had the same issue with mine...
