For first time buyers , the cost is high... $3000.00 Western gun or $2,000 M4 Impact, $700.00 bottle, $1.000.00 scope, very costly air pump + tax, ammo, scope rings and more. Yes you can buy cheaper equipment but you'll be buying better on top of that later , so get the best you can first. This is the reason I haven't jumped into airguns.

I don't carry black powder anymore. Section IIIA of the ATF curios, relics, and antiques list has all antique firearms listed by specific serial number that are classified as antique under 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 of the gun control act and use fixed ammunition that's no longer manufactured in the United States and isn't readily available commercially. Carry fixed ammo now, check you state law also and make sure it's legal
@DKSpencerCustomKineticsКүн бұрын
@@Reloadeez You are correct. I have actually been thinking about checking into that. Lots of good legal options out there. But I still like my black powder too.
@ReloadeezКүн бұрын
@@DKSpencerCustomKinetics like to add that those serial numbers are for NFA firearms that moved to antique classification. Any pistol made before before 1898 that uses ammunition thats on that list would also qualify as antique. If it’s 87 joule technically it’s actually lethal.
@DKSpencerCustomKineticsКүн бұрын
Well, if you want to be technical, no one said "not lethal" it's "less lethal" So, 87 is less lethal than almost 500 to 700 joules of a 9mm. It's important to remember that we are not saying this stuff will not kill you, right in the name. And don't think you couldn't be killed by 10 joules if hit in the head in the right place and no medical attention available for a while. Anything can kill in the right circumstances. Now, do I think you need 87, NO, I do not. But many do and want it

What's the most compact defense air pistol that is enough to work like at least 20j I have HDR50 with all the bells but is huge and heavy have to carry it in a backpack when traveling with family and its pointless
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics2 күн бұрын
Not much smaller than those with that power. You may like to carry an S2 better, it's 20. FSC's are stronger than that modded, but probably not much easier to carry. They can be shorter for sure though and you can get almost double that power pretty easy. They are shorter than an S2 but heavier. A Byrna LE is as big as a HDR 50 and you may or may not get one that has good power. Look at a Kimber PepperBlaster 2, they are compact but shoot gel instead of balls. HDP compacts just do not do it for me, poor power and not reliable for the most part. I guess my vote would be for a FSC with no comp and a flush barrel (factory or cut-cut off better barrel) That can get 35-40 depending on the barrel, with an oring and a chamber cap. Even more with the right cap, but they will stick out the back and add size
@kmom7772 күн бұрын
@@DKSpencerCustomKinetics Maybe evanix viper x the compact version I wonder why they didn't place a connection copper pipe and a small air tank inside the grip connected with the air tank wrapping the barrel. That way more air then just around the barrel or even just a diana bandit with same connecting pipe with a grip pipe reservoir. Noone do such a handy humain dispatchers 😂

I paid this guy to do a build for me a few months ago. He made a video of it and put it on his channel and it has been broke since I received it. It keeps misfiring, blowing o rings and he has ignored the 3 emails I sent him inquiring about him servicing it or fixing whatever the problems are. I even offered to pay for him to service it. I'm very disappointed, and I still have no way to protect myself. I was excited to get it and unfortunately, it has been a disaster. - Tyler

My next gun a be the 68 cal 16 j modified revolver for home defense or salt supply s2, and and one more hdp compact 7.5 j version and one more streetwise heat pepper ball launche, I plan to have 8 total in collection before I don't have anymore room to store them, but im assuming as long as u oil your guns, if u shot hundred to thousands of times and put gun away for 10 years them o rings should not be cracked as long as its not pierced while stored, I'm guessing after so many shots, it eventually fails regardless!
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics2 күн бұрын
I would not want o rings to sit for 10 years, the oil would dry by then, and they would probably dry out and go bad. It depends on the launcher and the o ring in question as to where they will handle however many rounds over what time. A few different compounds are used for o ring, some last WAY longer than others. Some launchers are way harder on o-rings as well. No simple answer as to what things will do over time, sitting or continued use. Probably best to get in the habit of checking them/changing them when needed
