How fun! A free detector to review. I met total newbies on the beach w/similarly priced units. All were having zero luck. They were receptive to my 5-min tutorial on where/how to swing. We tested coins so they could hear their unit's tones. Those machines DID beep on coins at 4" - 6". Am looking fwd to seeing how the unit works for you. 😀

How cool, yea, I've given a few of those on the spot lessons to newbies. It's always rewarding talking with them. Happy Hunting!

Nice. Been looking for a metal detector company to send me some gear ;) Looking forward to seeing it in the field!

The company is Kaiweets, they reached out to me via email, so if they haven't reached out to you yet, they will ✌️

That's a concentric coil. Signal should be strongest in the center with a cone-shaped detection field. GL HH Jason!

Phew! Finally got that nickel. 😀Always difficult. Weirdly my Manticore finds more of them in black iron sand, but with distorted tones & VDI numbers. Tnx for another picturesque beach. 👍

The nickel was sooo elusive that day, but at least I finally got one! Thanks Ken! 🤙

Great hunt, the beaches are fickle. Who's taller you or Daniel? On his video he said he was going to give the Turtle to his mom.
@jasondoesthings4 күн бұрын
Every beach is different up there and they change every day. I think Daniel is taller, I'm 6'3 so he must be at least 6'4 or more. Yep I wonder how she liked the turtle

Nice hunt Jason! I haven't been to T-Street for a while... since before they pumped all that extra sand onto the beach. I was waiting for the depositors to reload the beach but watching this makes me think I should hit it up again. Great to see you putting out vids again somewhat regularly! 🙂

I know crocks are ugly but if you wear them from an engineering standpoint …… you are spreading the load and they act like snowshoes in the dry sand! This will make your hunting allot easier! I buy the widest ones they have and usually 1 size bigger!

Why do you dump scoop before rechecking hole
@jasondoesthings24 күн бұрын
I do that so I can take a smaller amount of sand to sift out of the scoop when I isolate the target. It's just what I'm used to doing also.

Jason, I just bought the M9 and it has the same exact issue but it’s a little easier because it’s smaller! The best coil for that machine till they come out with the proper update for the beach guys is the M8 coil I swear by it and you don’t miss a thing and it runs just as deep as the M11 without it being so chatty down in the wet.
@jasondoesthings24 күн бұрын
Cool! Yea I need to save up and snag one of those!

It’s not you it’s the M11 and if you don’t use the very front of the coil to find it, it’ll be God knows where

So the issue is in the coil itself? Good to know. I wanna get the smaller coil eventually. Thanks for watching!
