I hope that the hospital sent you a survey so you can say how great the nurse was and how awful the doctor was. I feel like so many doctors have no bed side manor and get away with it. Congratulations! She’s such a doll❤

So cool your water broke! They had to break mine when I hit 10cm dilated. Also super cool they did an ultrasound for your epidural. They did not for me. I had some back labor, but i didn't feel pain. I agree, i loved my epidural lol. Definitely would do it again. I labored at home until 10pm on a Tuesday. Arrived at the hospital 10:30pm. The baby came at 11:01am Wednesday! I'm sorry to hear you had a rude doctor. You did amazing!

Omg crying and so happy for you! I’ve been around since your first KZfaq video, I was an IG follower before then and it’s been so sweet to see you become a mama 🥹 funnily enough I watched Superbad during my hospital stay too 💀 but also totally relate to having bad doctors step in for your actual OB. My first baby I had to have a c section, and my OB just has the most incredible bedside manner. He literally had me hug him while I was on the operating table getting the spinal block, since my hubby couldn’t come in yet. My second baby, I went in with premature labor and they had to just get the doctor on call. Everyone was so rude to me, I felt so alone in the whole process. They were yelling at me too because I couldn’t tie their mask they provided (this was in 2020) but I also had the biggest IV sticking out of my hand and arms making it difficult for me to bend them to tie it. I’m sorry you had to deal with those rude comments. I actually had the cleaning lady told me I would “ruin my son” too when I had him because I was so young. People suck. I’m just glad you and baby are healthy! She’s beautiful, congratulations mama!!!

Thank you for sharing your story! I think after the epidural when you can actually relax your body is able to dilate and actually have the baby, ya know? It was similar with me :) Cute baby girl!

That Obstetricians conduct is unacceptable. I'm so sorry he treated you like that. If you have the capacity to do so, file a report with the hospital/L&D unit. He should not have been so rough with the delivery of your baby or the placenta. Request your medical notes from your birth, as it sounds as though his conduct during your delivery, rushing baby girl and the placenta, is solely responsible for that severe of a tear. The OBs I work with ALWAYS make sure their patients are fully numbed with lidocaine and more doses of epidural before beginning ANY suturing. I'm so sorry Ash. Congratulations on the birth of your baby and I do hope this OBs conduct does not detract from the wonderful experiences you did have welcoming her.

SO PROUD OF YOU!!! Childbirth is the craziest experience, literally every time and each one is so different. You did such a great job. Being a new mom is so hard but you got this. Women seriously go through so much! I labored for over 24 hours and had to push for 2.5 hours because my son was “sunny side up” and got stuck 😢 it’s so exhausting and I remember my ENTIRE body felt like I got hit by a truck the next day because all of my muscles were so so sore from straining. Like full body soreness, back, arms legs, all of it. My epidural wore off an hour before I started pushing too. No ones fault, but they couldn’t re administer it bc all the anesthesiologists were in the OR for cesareans 😭😭😭😭 I ALSO had a second degree tear and got stitched up with NO LIDOCAINE OR ANYTHING 😭😭😭😭😭😭 it was SO PAINFUL. The most painful part.

Omg. I bought a car 2 months ago. And it was the most ridiculous and stressful experience. I was so prepared. And the sales people kept not listening to me. It took me over a month and 5 different dealerships before i got not only the car i wanted but also the price and interest rate. Not to mention the bullying of the add ons while i was signing. Ugh. It was literally months ago and I'm still HEATED.

Congratulations mama! Baby looks so gorgeous ❤ I can relate to your birth story a lot - in fact I gave birth 16th of may which isn’t that far off when you gave birth I believe. My water also broke and we went in, I was also 2 cm. Slept one night in the hospital with mild cramping/contractions during that day. The next morning around 8 they check me and I’m 3 cm, they offer to induce me with an oxytocin drip (which is the same hormone that’s already in the body that helps the contractions start). They start the drip at 12, I had lunch but could barely eat from all the nerves 😂 and around 12:45 the contractions start getting stronger. My midwife said her shift was ending at 15:00 so she won’t be delivering my baby, which made me sad because she was awesome. I sat on a yoga ball thing and breathed through the contractions, but they quickly became stronger so they gave me a laughing gas mask to use. After that all I remember is sounds and people around me, I was in such pain. Half a minute between each contraction. Basically what happened to you happened to me, only I didn’t have time to get the epidural - I went from 3-10 cm within less than an hour. I pushed for an hour to get him down and then my baby boy was born, all in all less than 3 hours from the start of the drip. When the laughing gas had worn off I was happy to see the same midwife had stayed and she was the one who got to deliver my baby. They did delayed cord clamping which actually helped with the placenta coming out so much, I barely felt it. I tore to a grade 2 which was both internal and external and I found the needles for the numbing more painful than anything so that sucked, it also took like 40 minutes for the doctor on call to come and to the stitching. It makes me angry that the doctor was so rough with you! You’ve just been through the worst pain of your life, your body is in shock from the pushing and you’ve just met your baby for the first time. Not okay, you’d think a doctor who handles different people everyday would be more compassionate! All along my pregnancy people had said the same things that oh it’s your first baby, if you get induced it will take a long time. No one tells you that it can actually go way faster and that things can progress quickly - and to trust your body! Your water had broken and you were on your way, your body knew what it had to do. That’s probably why you progressed so fast and that’s amazing and definitely not normal, at least here where I’m from (Sweden) - they told me a quick progression in dilation like this is very rare for first time mums but it indicates your body knows what it’s doing. I wish they would’ve told you that instead, words are so powerful and they can really make it break you when you’re in a vulnerable position like this. I’m so happy your baby is okay and that you’re doing okay, postpartum is no joke 😂❤
