12.34 there is actually a company trying to perfect throwing stuff into space like that, been some time since i check how they are doing and the cowboy riding missile, i think it's a reference to a b&w movie where at the end the guy with a cowboy hat ride a dropped bomb acting like he was ridding a bull

7:32 that polyhaedra destroying the squares is transforming them into a type of Fractal, called "Menger Sponge". The significance of this interaction is lost ln my feeble mind though, so I pass the batton to someone knowledgeable on fractals. I learned from it from Minecraft's April Fools "Infinite Worlds" update. (Pretty sure its referenced in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure as one of the character's abilities, as well. Valentine)

Yeah... It's actually a regular polychoron. The regular icositetrachoron, otherwise known as a 24-cell (it has 24 octahedral cells), or the "4D hyper-diamond" as they call it. Actually it only looks chaotic to us because it's doing double rotations and has a lot of edges, and even then it's silly enough to let mere surfaces (the Platonic polyhedra) trap it. I think the video could be a lot better than it was, an even started coming up with a lot of new ideas for a remake (already), but I guess it's still interesting. It's just disappointing that apart from the 4D cameos, they didn't explore any aspects of 4D geometry at all other than those double rotations. And it would've been cool if we had non-Euclidean manifolds too (In case you saw it, I mentioned it was the dual of a tesseract but nah it's a self-dual)

For some reason I initially thought that this chaotic looking thing was a 4D icositetrachoron (24-cell)

5:17 - So I had to look it up. Apparently, the first golden triangle that shows up is a 1-sqrt(3)-2 right inscribed triangle, where the circle that circumscribes it has a circumference of pi*phi on the bottom, meaning the diameter is phi as shown in the transformation at 5:19 - From the transformation and notation on the triangle here, we see the property Phi^2 = 1+Phi, and thus the ensuing "golden square" that appears is a square with an area of Phi and further at 7:15

You should check out the games “Hyperbolica” and “4D Golf” by Code Parade. Hyperbolica is *all about* non-euclidean space, and you’ll eventually build up an intuition for it. Similar story with 4D Golf, it’s actually really well designed and makes 4D space quite intuitive!
