Just found your channel, very good video. I never go up the A9 anymore, average speed cameras just kill the enjoyment. Much better to go up the A93 via Glen Sheen and Braemar then Tomintoul.

I had a full Skorp system on my old XT some years back, it good kit. Regarding the Tenere, it would have to be a high tucked in pipe to get round the design flaw of dropping the bike on its right. Also, how it fits regarding the frame and indicators. As a respinsible nod to the environment, I wouldn't want to fuck around removing the cat either, so would be looking slip on only. The Mivv Dakar high seems to be the best solution.

Seriously considering this bike. Need to go and at least try to seat on one. I am 5'9" so it might be too tall for me? But then again I have supermoto which has seat height at 910mm and I can ride it no problem, but it's 60kg lighter than WR is! 😁 Loved the humour 🤣 loved the vid, cheers!

The Kylesku curving bridge followed by the B869 Drumbeg loup.. Absolutely the best and most rewarding bit of single track on the nc500.. I did it when the scottish transport bods had started to re serface the road. May 2021. The lads working on it were absolute heroes.. It was like a scalextric track :)))) just blew me away.. Breathless with the beauty of the highlands . part of Iceland in Scotland . Happy days my friend.. 🏍🏍🏍

Really not that concerned about the electronic settings. I think we have heard more about tat than we care to hear. We really want to know more about mechanical stuff and not see the scenery. Why do you seem so obsessed with the electronic controls?

I found it was easy on my 125 as being slim meant most of the time the opposing driver would just move over a little and we could pass safely so I never slowed down much on the single track roads av. around 40 mph and 110mpg I even got to 60 on some stretches when I could see the roads were clear. Off back up to Scotland in June but on my Rebel 1100 this time four days motocamping so from Lanark to Perth then on to Dingwall for the night then JOG and Dunnett head, Tongue and down to Lairg for the night on to Fort William and Ardnamurchan Point for my last night before getting back to Glasgow and Lanark via the A82 Green Welly and Loch Lomond.

@williamcoulter5462 Жыл бұрын
When did you go? I was there in June 2022 with the same weather and it was also cold but I went the other way around from Lanark to Ullapool then the next day on to JoG and back to Lanark, it was so bad I did a planned four day trip in two, riding for 12 hours a day it was fine until Ullapool then it was non stop persistent rain until I got back to Lanark the next evening over 700 miles on my 2022 Super cub with camping gear including Applecross pass. You do not need a big adventure bike to actually have an adventure just plan your fuel stops along the way and take your credit card as a lot of village pumps are unmanned and only take cards.
