No, bad Idea how to build the city... SkyScrappers requires at least avenue road type in neighbourhoods. It is easy to compute how many trafic need to go from each building. I think I have better idea how to build city districts to meet traffic and demand with protection from noice and polution.

Man, thanks for a vid, it was hard to find confirmation among cities skylines 2 discussions! I got that bug since i've reached 100mil because of crypto and i've stopped playing this game because of that taxation bug, it made me think that i was doing something wrong with my city development, i was trying to understand what my mistakes was and after all i've got tired of my useless effort and stopped playing the game 6+ months ago. Man, that bug made me stop playing, i know there are no really a point to have so much money, but I was trying to build a good city and grow it's budget with well build taxation and managment and then game didn't let me enjoy the process itself by lowering my income, what a shame. I'll try to find a mod to fix it, if you know how to find one, please let me know.

Regarding your point about the zoning limit by the road.. sc4 automatic fills big zones with a road grid... Are you saying that if desirability gets high enough those roads will just be demolished and replaced with a mansion?

Hey man, I'm enjoying these lets play of Sim City 4. It's 2024 and the game is still holding up after disappointing release after release in the game industry. The best games now are those that have aged like wine with all these community made plug ins and bug fixes.

It's kind of funny they want you to make the industry area look like Google with skateboard ramps and parks to spawn high tech. Makes a lot of sense though

I used to watch SimCity 2013 and compare it to SimCity 4, this one allows only a portion of the map. The previous entry allows you to build a big city! They have the resource to do that! What an unfortunate fate. City: Skyline should be the one that resuscitate the genre. Without it, how could we have Frostpunk and Ixion? 3:24 I was asking about the MOD part and of course, I haven't seen any.

Just discovered this myself with the financial district dlc. I banked 100 mil from crypto and as soon as I sold the shares my tax income droped to losing 40-100k. In the stats screen it mainly effected tax income and tourist income. The city valuation shot up an near equal amount to what the tax went down. Everything else was still spot on for a 40k pop city. Had me scratching my head. Good info thanks for the upload.
