Same issue here. It overheats, shuts off, then after about five minuites there is a click and it can get to 100 PSI again before overheating. There has to be a way to override the temperature shut off. I'd rather have this thing self-destruct and have to buy a new one then have this piece of crap that I keep trying to fix

Your doing good just dont use as much solder, think about the tight clearance between the 2 surfaces your welding, 2 drops of solder would likely do it. Keep up the good work. Btw, I can't see using that at the airport, its probably frowned upon lol

hey i have to same exact compressor with the same issue. shutting off after overheating. i changed out every part and still same issue. solved problem by adding oil lubricant to piston sleeve . it was bone dry and needed some TLC . worked perfectly after that.
