im curious.. it seems that there aren't many pick-pockets or robbers in SG? Because you are able to commute carrying your laptop - exposed! :) hehe! bec here in the philippines, i'd be scared to carry a laptop like that during commute. we usually keep it in our bags.

I never thought it was unsafe to carry my laptop that way 😅 I just do because it’s too heavy to carry on my shoulders and many people carry their laptops separately from their bags here. But yes indeed I think it’s very safe here in Singapore and I’ve hardly heard people run into trouble with pickpockets. 😀

Hi! Is the wm you are using a washer + dryer or washer only? May i know how is it? Just made an order few days back because it looks good 🫣

Hey! It's a washer+dryer combo from Samsung, we got the 10.5kg one. The washer is as good as it gets, easy to maintain too. We hardly use the drying function as it takes very long (maybe twice the duration of a conventional dryer) to dry because of the difference in technology. Half a load requires around 1.5-2 hours to fully dry, and full load will never dry properly + will be extremely crumpled. Maybe if it's all dry fit you can dry in a shorter time. Thick cotton things like towels don't really dry well in there too. We have a steigen so we mostly use that. I think we've only used the dryer function on the washing machine less than 10 times in 2 years... hope this helps!

Ahh! I love Steigen, used it every single time with the heat on- it allows me to do laundry any time of the day without worrying about having the windows open when I go out/go to sleep. The downside is you have to hang the clothes, but it doesn’t wrinkle or shrink the clothes/destroy the fabric like it could happen with conventional dryers 😊 and Steigen has really good customer service too, I ran into a heating problem 1+ years after installation and they came and fixed it the next day!

Good point 😂 I guess for me part of the charm is also travelling to different places and seeing the city as a whole rather than being in the same building the whole time 😀 I like going around!!
