That is slow, my 32cc baja does 80 kph on grass. It will do more but it runs out of grass ! I know this is accurate as I had a gps thingy strapped to it and it is single speed. So what is the point of more gears when a good engine can rev so high.

I just installed this kit on mine. My clutch engages the clutch bell but I think it's slipping. Won't move until half throttle. Do I need a softer clutch spring? Turn the clutch around maybe?

I didn't hear any gear changes, just hear the engine hitting the power band and starts screaming. I got this same kit on my Rovan and the gear changes are hard and noticable. I had a problem where my car was starting off in second gear. I had to tighten my clutches a little and got a 6k rpm centrifugal clutch. I think 8k is a bit high considering the engine is only good for around 10k.

I can't get mine shifting. Can you tell me how you installed the two clutches? Mine might be backwards but GTB says the clutch grabs with friction, not swinging open and locking into the notch in the gear.

seems slow, i have a Zenoah 30.5cc on a 5t, without any gear, i hit 70-80kph edit: 32cc Zenoah sorry

Ya man I don't know what's going on maybe the carb needs adjusting. When the snow f off then I'll be testing it better and maybe get it to hit 2 of even 3

I was going to ask you if the 3 speed would work on the ALX 71 ? I know you counted the 23t pinion. Anyway was curious?! We can rip ya, although my little 32 won't be much for that 71 monster.

Well you focused on pretty much everything but your three speed transmission I didn't get to hear it shift into any different gears and that's not all that fast you might want to go back to the drawing board and start again

@@georgianbayrc6063 any progress on it a year later? You need to know how to adjust each set screw for each gear, run it on a stand and work on 2nd gear adjustment until it shifts, wind set screw in all the 2ay then back out half turn at a time until it shifts. Repeat for 3rd shift

I bought it off a site called ALX and that's where I got it you should check it out, there's not any specs on the website it just called a BigBore engine way bigger than what comes stock in the Baja.

I would have gone bigger but they cost a pretty penny plus upgrading the drive train, plus getting tires that hold together. What size motor you have in your Baja?

@@georgianbayrc6063 I have the Rovan 32cc 5b Black marble body. I was pretty sure I'd go with the 71 ALX in Red. So when I saw your video I was pretty excited for you. Like great choice. The Red looks fantastic and the pipe also.

Maybe you clutches are on backwards or you bearing. Hope this helped

There is a big round bearing that might be backwards. Check to see if your driveshaft turn the wheels. Then you would know the problems not in the transmission. Then I would take the gears apart then redo it.
