I quit clay for several years and started painting and resin. Now I'm back at polymer clay. Don't worry you go back when it runs it's course or a idea pops in your mind. Love your painting! You are an amazing artist no matter what medium you are using! 💖

every time I try to make it the clay gets deformed and the cupcake goes out of shape so any tips on how to fix it? 😊

I would suggest you to put your clay in the freezer when it starts getting soft or just choose to buy a harder piece of clay. I can imagine how hard it could be if the clay is too soft and warm.

I am using ink pens, they usually have 0.7 or 0.5 mm tips. You can go for a Micron branded one :)
